Very cool to see you riding with the guys in England again Darren. Stunning scenery and great trails. But the trails towards the end were so damn steep that even on the GoPro recordings you thought you were flying over the handlebars. Too bad Christian couldn't be there but it was really cool to see you with the boys. Hardtail action with shitty brakes, that's an adventure😂. Ride on and see you soon buddy🤙
It was awesome to catch up with the boys. There is so much good riding in the UK that people back home are completely unaware of. You don’t necessarily need big mountains for great trails! See you soon fella 👍

Thanks Marc and thanks once again for the loan of the bike. At the end of day a bike with bad brakes is 1000% better than no bike. I bet it will be a corking ride with some good stoppers 👍

Great video Darren. I should have been there but it was my lads 21st . Having ridden Marc's bike for a short section of trail I would question how SRAM can call them brakes. Honestly thought I was riding with v-brakes 😂. Looks such an epic loop and the off piste.....scary as ......😮. Nice one 😎
Thanks Jonathan. Pity you couldn’t make it, but your lad will only turn 21 once and I’m sure we’ll have other opportunities. Thankfully all that mud hid the brown stains on the trousers after the off-piste section 🤣

Btw that inofficial trail section seemed a lot like some trails on Heidelberg Königstuhl!

Mate, that was brilliant 😊 However, couple of noob mistakes, first puddle you came to, never ask how deep it is, just rode through it like Marc did 😂 Secondly, the brakes don't need bedding in, they are just awful 😂😂 Thirdly, when Jason says it is not that bad, it always is far worse than bad 👀
That last trail looks terrifying, especially that vertical roll towards the end!!! Glad you had a great time, and other than the brakes you seemed to fully grasp the attraction of a good hardtail. Think this is the first time I have heard you swear that much 🤬😂😂😂 Hopefully I will be for and ready for June 👍🏻 Apologies I couldn't make this ride 😞
I bow to your greater wisdom and promise not to make the same mistakes again! All the swearing was fully justified on that last trail. You were sorely missed mate. Hope the leg’s on the mend. Looking forward to seeing you in June.

I know where that track is me and my mates do it all the time where that rock roller is its been chipped away somehow so know you have to drop of it 9:46
