"The song is basically about the well-known tale of the phoenix, but in a more philosophical sense. It
talks about the ever-changing cycles of life, about the many endings and beginnings we have to go through, about how many old versions of ourselves need to figuratively die in order for us to keep growing and evolving as human beings, and finally, about building resilience to endure all these rebirths."

These girls are amazing, I'm glad more ladies are bringing their talent to the genre and I'm glad the reception the community is giving them because they deserve it.
I am SO happy more women are becoming musicians.. Believe me brother, I tried doing this, BEING THIS! in the 80's and the world just wasn't ready... It was impossible to find any females willing to give up their pursuit of penis long enough to take their pursuit of music seriously and even more impossible to find men willing to allow a female front woman sing death metal for them... I am just so happy to watch it unfold before me... I knew it would.. I'm going to have them sign my old Denim jacket!
The drummer is on another level. She is easily as good as any metal drummer out there. Yeah I know there are some Gods that are untouchable but this lady is very good.
Crypta is up there with the Big 4. Big music. Big talent. They're one of the best metal bands on Earth.

Eu tenho 55 anos,curto metal desde os 13 anos, a muito não ficava tão impressionado com uma banda de metal, que banda espetacular, e o melhor de tudo, é Brasil, que orgulho dessas meninas, elas são do caralho, tocam pra caralho, que performance dessa batera, que rifes de guitarras maravilhoso, solos harmoniosos, e o timbre da voz da Fernandinha, do caralho, Luana, Fernanda, Sônia e Tayná, vocês são maravilhosas, competentes, talentosíssimas, vocês vão sacudir o mundo do metal, que orgulho, made in Brazil.

tanto a prika como a fernanda são pessoas maravilhosas, o que aconteceu era pra acontecer, nada é por acaso, as duas formaram duas bandas que agradaram todos, a única parte ruim dessa história é que os fans terão que gastar tudo em dobro agora rs, porq são sonoridades completamente diferentes, cada uma em sua maestria, parabéns a todos os envolvidos, que orgulho de ver o metal sendo representado por nós brasileiros, grandes exemplos de superação e amor a música.
@Maria Rosa Dias exatamente, eu sinceramente não conhecia muito o trabalho delas antes, eu ja tive banda de metal por 12 anos, mas há 9 sou dj, n deu certo minha banda, conheci o trabalho delas durante isso que aconteceu e acabei me apaixonando pela personalidade delas, me identifiquei bastante, penso muito parecido com elas, e tb na vibe, hoje acompanho o trabalho com o maior orgulho de saber que ainda existem pessoas assim na cena, sucesso garantido em qualquer projeto que elas colocarem a mão, são pessoas iluminadas.
É a nova novela "Sarcofago e Sepultura" , agora versão feminina , mas melhor para os fãs . A proposta é BEM diferente da do Nervosa , mas eu gostei sim .

Meu coração parte em ver a Fer e a Prika separadas, mas é isto. As duas são maravilhosas e as duas bandas também são maravilhosas e isso que me conforta. kk
Admito que não sou fã desse tipo de metal, mas ver uma banda brasileira, formada por mulheres, causando impacto não só aqui no BR, como lá fora também, me deixa muito feliz e orgulhoso. Espero que vocês tenha todo o sucesso do mundo, e que vocês possam crescer mais e mais. Vocês sim conseguem representar o que há de melhor aqui lá fora! Parabéns!

Esperaba mucho este tema porque creo que sonia anubis es una genia en la guitarra y le da otro toque a las bandas en la que esta (es como nita strauss en alice cooper, es distinta la musica que hacen pero lo digo a modo de ejemplo) en fin, ojala el disco de crypta sea brutal asi como esta excelente cancion

Yo síempre dijé a quiénes les gusta la música pués ahí está, para que la dísfrutan, lo vívan y lo recuerden porque es bueno por 1 lado. These ladies have a serious old school Nightside Eclipse era Emperor mixed with Morbid Angel vibe to them and does it kick so much ass. Cannot wait to hear the whole album.

Nunca vi uma separação de integrantes de banda ser tão boa para todos os membros envolvidos... Nervosa deu um salto de qualidade e identidade gigante, e o Crypta vem com cara própria e técnica. Legal demais, não sei se há uma disputa, caso haja, por favor, continuem, os sons estão ficando fodas.
Já rolou com Angra e Shaman. O problema dessa disputa vai ser a eterna comparação das bandas entre os fãs, mesmo quando os sons são completamente diferentes

Just wanted to add the lead guitars in this song are amazing, the main lead work in the chorus has been stuck in my head all day, great ascending feeling in the riffs... perfect for the song! Awesome screams to open and close the songs with and the drums are perfect! Everyone is one fire!

Okay, it's official -- I was initially sad that Nervosa split up, but now I'm happy because we got TWO great bands out of it. The new incarnation of Nervosa is fantastic, and if this song is an indicator of the rest of the CD, Crypta is even better! Good lord, this is great! I worried Fernanda would go all-grunt, but her old vocal style is still very much in evidence. Great on every level!
They didn't split up, their vocalist left and founded this new band.
Nervosa is a pretty generic and booring Band.

Essa foi a melhor ruptura em uma banda nacional, pois ganhamos duas super bandas, Nervosa e Crypta. Sucesso às meninas das duas formações e parabéns pelo trabalho apresentado e pela garra para superarem todas as adversidades.
Lembra a ruptura do Angra, que continuou um excelente banda e surgiu outra excelente que foi o Shaman.

Primeiramente Fernanda e as demais integrantes da banda estão infinitamente de parabéns, para quem criticava a Crypta, prometeram nada e entregaram tudo, acompanho todo o trabalho desde seu início, eu pensei que seria mais um álbum de Death onde é um estilo intenso, profundo e geralmente tocado por homens, fizeram uma boa escolha ao estilo e as músicas confesso estão sem defeitos algum, não são enjoativas, são pesadas e além do esperado, escutei o álbum várias vezes desde que lançou, ressalto a última faixa como aquela que vc repete várias vezes e não se cansa de ouvir, a variação que fazem durantes as músicas são velozes e não fic na mesmice como inúmeras bandas que já ouvimos que se resume em um riff apenas, blast Beats e voz gutural, que justamente a Crypta faz esse diferencial, sucesso abraço de um humilde fã, stay heavy. Bjs na Luana que sou baterista e babo por ela.

I haven't felt this transfixed by death metal since I found Morbid Angel at thirteen years old. This is amazing, I had goosebumps, it made me tear up. Crypta is well worth the wait. I can't wait to have the album.

I'm thoroughly impressed by these ladies. I'm not typically impressed with new/newer "death metal" (for a lack of a better term) bands, but, Crypta has my full attention. Been spinning Echoes Of The Soul for 3 days straight. Killer release!

I watched Chuck and Death rehearse at Morrissound, best death metal band ever, and now Crypta has emerged with seriously killer shades of that long ago genre, a real crisp demonic sound of their own, and talent to rival the best death metal bands out there, theyll be right at home next to GlenBen and I am sure he has taken notice of the incredible skills that Crypta brings not to mention an uncanny parallel to the Death sound and Chucks vocals, love this band so much cant wait to see them here in the US!

Easily the best new band on Napalm. They KILLED it at Wakken. Sonia Nusselder left but they have Taina Bergamaschi,who is AMAZING, and may be my favorite new guitar player after watching the technical brilliance in her videos,Andy LaRoque and Chuck are her influences,and it shows. She's brilliant. They all are. Jessica DiFalchi filled in,and it's a shame if she doesn't stay, because she's badass. I can't wait to hear more. If anyone from Napalm Records sees this,you need to push that band to the moon. They deserve it. Brazil's finest!!
