UP's Beasts of the Southeast

Three students from the University of the Philippines Diliman are on their way to Europe to represent the country in Red Bull energy drink's "Can You Make It?".
Broadcast Communication student Red Calayan, Chemical Engineering student Dave Agbayani and Community Nutrition Student R-jay Esposo will be joining ninety-nine other teams of students from all over the world, in a trip across Europe using only Red Bull energy drink cans as currency.
The teams will start their journey across Europe from London, Paris, Milan or Vienna on April 4, 2014. Each team will be given a case of 24 Red Bull energy drink cans, which they will use as payment for transportation, lodging, food and other needs. All teams have one week (or until April 11) to reach the finish line in Berlin.
The team from UP Diliman, named Beast of the Southeast, will be representing the Philippines as they are the only contingent from the country which qualified for the contest. The team will be leaving for Europe on April 2.
