The thrill is not gone, you remain so young and exciting, love the harmonies, great man, charisma in the voice as well as just shimmering T Leckner montreal
That is a very nice SG Paul is playing, looks like the one he had in the late 70's? And he used it a lot on the LiveWood tour which for me personally was him at his best and his best live band?
@@stevej061069 I agree, some people have got to remember that these songs were written and sung between 38 and 40 and years ago. Most artists voices would have been and gone by now, considering he’s never really taken much care of his health, with his drinking and smoking.
Followed Steve since TSC - I never understood this move and he's been pretty guarded about it. Haven't seen him play with anyone with flair or chops since and stopped following Paul's career closely as a result.
Weller is pure class and brilliance...he has created the soundtrack for so much of life's amazing moments!!! Thank you, PW!!!!

Love it class as always Mr Weller !!!
Can't remember last time I saw two Gibson SG on one stage ... love that guitar!
The amount of classics PW has produced is simply inconceivable
0:00 Start
2:58 Precious
5:53 Move On Up
8:09 Town Called Malice
Move on up
Think only song
Both the jam and the style council used to play live
It was
Quality from our paul 😎👍🎸🎶
Love the addition of the horn section! Great to hear these songs live again!
Never liked the horns on the album version in the first place (of Start!)
Andy croft on bass! Wellers soul brother
Was there...mod,magical and memorable...get on!
Was this on a cruise ship? Bugger, I guess I missed "The Jam Experience Cocktail Lounge Tour".

Looking good Paul
Amazing with S F ........perfect night xx
I watched this on 1.25 playback speed. More like The Jams speed!
yr right...
Love it
Even better if dee was dueting on MOVE ON UP
If you showed this to the Paul Weller back when he broke up The Jam he would cringe.
well said!
Based on what?? He split The Jam to explore different styles of music, so theoretically would have listened with a critical ear if nothing else.
It's what's known as 'growing up'. Try it sometime, you might surprise yourself.

Great gig! I was there!!!
Wonder if mayfield ever heard weller doing move on up sure he would have approved
He performed it with both The Jam and the Style Council and Weller even interviewed Mayfield, so it's possible.
@@OldMod67 Yes. This interview is on Curtis Mayfield's "Live at Ronnie Scott's" DVD.
(I think some CD releases have on audio too...)
A plectrum bass player? A very rare beast...
You are right, I can think of another one though, Mr Bruce Foxton.
@@TheWorldofGood79 ..... The Best bassist that walked this planet until 2015, Mr CHRIS SQUIRE , of the band YES, was also a plectrum player.
@@gorjulin the best bassist ever. Course he was.
Paul isn't quite the singer he used to be. Still i enjoyed the arrangements here.
Love the 2 drummers thing...a bit Showaddywaddy there
What is that clown doing on drums during Precious?
He's got an annoying tendency of hitting the cymbals every beat hasn't he. Bloody awful drummer.
This is the worst band Weller ever had. This drummer sounds like a caveman playing the drums.
The whole thing is poor karaoke 🎤
Start is definitely not driving. Why the fuck did he get rid of Steve White on drums????

Just no passion....Lost it in 82.
The vocal is shot to fuck!
Shame, but PW sounds like a pissed up pub singer 😬
From the Jam is so much better..
May be Weller just wasn't that an important member of The Jam?
@@gavinevans4711 yeah, he only wrote nearly all the songs
Looks to me like the band are humouring PW .... for a wage.
TCMallice..... sick of it now
I think he’s playing slower so Andy can keep up with the bass. He is nowhere near as good as Bruce .
