I saw him back in the early 90s, was underage but got into the bar he was playing at. He was so messed up that he had to sit on a stool. Played a few songs, then passed out. He was great, however his gigs were a mess of drugs and alcohol. Thankful, I was stoned as well. Laughed so hard my stomach hurt.
This man is so underrated. Incredible guitarist...and the songs. You will sing along with every song he plays . Amazing sound reproduction, his live performances sound like you are listening to the album. Glad to have seen him in concert and cant wait for the next show.
Derrick Caddell Underrated? How do you come to that conclusion? Everyone I talk to about Wilcox says he’s a genius . I’ve never heard any negative comments about him so to me he’s top rated ...TopDrawer. But I think maybe you’re saying why isn’t he more popular, that’s a good question
My daughters fav song, sad that she has passed away, but my granddaughter her daughter is gettin married in two weeks wearing her mom ring and tennis bracelet, I can’t wait.
* Read this Hello and Merry Christmas!! I'm very sorry about your daughter, I hope you and the family make a safe and healthy recovery. Or, by now, I hope everything has passed by smoothly. Great to hear your granddaughter was married! Wishing them the best. Support and love from Charleston, SC. I wish you the best.
I lost my daughter to a car crash. No parent should outlive the children. I understand my friend. Cherish the memories we had. It can put a smile on our face for a short time.
This makes me miss the Barrie - Orilla area in Ontario where I consider home because Rock 95.7 would play this all the time & Bad Apple when I lived there from 1996-2008. Now it’s 2018, living in Nova Scotia.
When people talk about the best bands and musicians from Canada, they always talk about : Rush, Triumph, April Wine and the Hip. I think Wilcox is better than all of them. Wilcox plays party music that gets everyone in a good mood - that's what it's all about...
@@deenasmusicbox no way lol I was wondering if anybody from table 19 would ever see this comment! I never heard of Wilcox before scotty either there are a lot of bands and music scotty has taught me about just from all the covers he's always doing!! That gig on Thursday with tj and last night solo was killer!!
@@williamnimbach6419 I gotta laugh with ya! I TOTALLY AGREE!! Those two shows rocked it out! I would like to see more of the COBRAS for sure, I have so much more enjoyment from their performance together. THOSE BOYS ARE LIGHTNING!!!
Lol, every time I hear this song, a vivid image is painted in my mind. The image of that guy that every small town has one of and knows one of. That guy who's in his late 40's/early 50's, is always disheveled, unshaven, and usually missing a tooth or two. He's always a self righteous, arrogant ass who works at the local town heavy labor industry, like a mill or a plant, and makes good money doing it and claims anybody who went to college or university is stupid because he makes good money without even having finished high school. He hangs out at the town bar on week nights where he often drinks too much and makes an ass of himself and treats staff poorly, and tries to mack at women but they won't give him the time of day because he's greasy, wearing stained carharts and muddy boots that he tracks all over the bar, reeks of BO and weed, and is incapable of stringing a sentence together without excessive profanity. The only time he's even in a "clean" (but still unshaven) state is at an event like a family wedding where he reeks of too much cologne instead of BO and weed, where drinks too much and attempts to lech on women in the family that his relative is marrying into. He claims to be a lady's man and claims to have had many past relationships despite people who have known him all his life never having seen him with a girlfriend, and his rationale for not having a girlfriend and not being married at middle age is because he prefers to fool around with younger women who he claims can't keep their hands off of him even though women his age and younger find him generally repulsive. He drives a huge, excessively loud truck that's always filthy and he drives it home from the bar drunk at 1:00am making as much noise as possible. He lives in a house he bought for $80k that's basically a hovel that's in a constant state of filth, but has a $10k home theater/gaming setup in the living room where he plays COD online and gets into swearing matches with 12 year olds. He's right wing to the point of being completely irritating, and gets into political battles on Facebook that usually consist of him typing profanities and insults at anybody who disagrees with him and calling them "libtards." This is like the theme song for those guys lol.

Did security for him 2 years ago, he is highly underrated, and he puts on one hell of a show
I don't think he's under rated I think he is one of Canadas best kept secrets.
Everything that has ever happened is underrated
He wouldn't make it on American idol
@@MrMattnis1 Probably not
He is Canadian :)
Agreed. He deserves way more respect!,,
