I like how, even if you show us this, if one learns the lasso, heart, and hop maneuvers, then it's still nearly impossible to guess which she'll the pea is under. Love it.
@@lunalovegoodwitch It might seem that way, but in my opinion black is the worst possible background. It looks suspicious, it swallows up all the light, and it diminishes everything in size and importance. A white pea works on black, but the contrast is so high, I think it looks much better on green and is more comfortable to the eye. The pea is the important thing, the shells secondary. Same with cups and balls. Cups and shells should not be as light or bright as the balls or pea, but lighter than the background. A variation in contrast is better than harsh unnatural contrast. A white pea works well on a green background. Just my opinion, of course, but I have been doing this game for more than sixty years. I created the green color of the Perfect Pea with the intention of finding something that looked good on almost any surface. White does not look good on newspaper, for example.

I have lived in LasVegas 30+ years this kind of con was never allowed on the Las Vegas strip, the casinos will put an immediate stop to it. Today the strip sidewalks are infested with 3 shell performers, no one seems to mind. I saw a 40+ year old man just today lose one thousand dollars on a single bet, it blows my mind with all the information available on line people still fall for this shit. I believe the Las Vegas casinos can do a much better job protecting their guests. After all the street cons are taking money away from the casino tables.
meh...who cares. it's not like the visitors are taken to Las Vegas with a gun to their head and forced to gamble their money away. let them lose their money. they obviously don't value it.
I think it is awesome that he shows how its done, because it makes it even harder because even knowing how this is done, without years and years of practice, it isn't going to be done by amateurs anyway.
@@PopHaydn Could not disagree more. If it was a demonstration, why wouldn't you educate your castle audience during the presentation and reveal all the moves. This man is simply magical. That is a TON of practice, discipline, and dedication to get that good... Much respect...
Wonderful. Pop, you’re amazing!
Pop Haydn - Just rewatched this. There’s going to be a lot of work just to get half as good as you. Just makes me smile.
Thanks for this!

WITCH !!!
Proberly best not to use green pea on green mat .but great vid
Did you have a hard time following the pea? I designed the color of the pea for use on a pool table. I think it has plenty of contrast, even on video.
@@PopHaydn no but just think would look better on black as people may not see well it poor eye sight

I hate that these secrets are just given away to the general public. Sucks big time!
Pop Haydn what are you talking about? Techniques are secrets. Magicians have invested thousands of hours practicing these techniques.
Pop Haydn I saw your castle act and thought it was great. This expose should bar you from castle performances in my opinion.
