Looks like it's a jacknife pulled up with the draw works and bridle lines.
You can see the blocks hanging down at the start.
Hydraulic derricks usually lay down over the draw works side.
its really spooky when ever you see them drop the derrick
Do they set anchors on the Drill Rigs too? I know workover rigs do unless they tie off to the beam.....
Does anyone here set Safety Anchors? I know its a lame job but we keep yall safe too remember!! LOL
Bohunter
Tell Drill to get that thing in the air next time. Seriously though, this is done with hydraulics. Has to be to go that slow. Smooth but dangerous imo. Roughneck Up.
nah no anchors. they stake the well . drill rig moves in. drills the hole. sets casing. gets out. then they come in and set anchors. then ur workover rig comes in and does what it needs.
No, I was 4,500 kms away from my family. and when i left the toolpush begged me to stay, but my family more important then big money.
Yaa a month of that was good enough for me too !!!
thnx ill look for it n download it :)
Up the ladder to the moon.
Rig move is cool, but you should have speed it up and taped the truckers and swampers tearing stuff up like they always do. Put it all together
whats the song called?? msg me back plz..good jod with riasing the stick..peace
Wow! Could that have been any slower?
lol, truckers are fine long as your not standing behind them. And lets face it, anyone who stays a swamper is just a guy who couldn't cut it as a roughneck
i think you should have trippled the speed, but kept the same song.
Kinda boring and long
cool video! my boyfriend works out on a rig in BC. He's shown me pictures of Derrick's being raised but I've never seen a video! He's in love with his job and I think it's pretty cool too =)
