most of these guys are awesome performers and still have their chops. the problem is they haven't adapted to the times , they need to use today's swag in fashion, style, and the dancing., you can't be dressing like it's the 90's you have to use the changes to your advantage, they would appeal more to the younger generation because you can't hear a freestyle beat and not bang your head and move that's humanly imposible. if most of these guys tweaked a few things they could be on the move to bringing the movement back and actually get the new generation into it again and it can probably go mainstream and get more airplay as long as they keep pumping out good music and change and adapt musicwise as well never loose the essence of freestyle but adapt. change ain't always bad.
On the flip side, dressing in the throwback threads brings the audience back to the good old days when these songs were current and reinforces the fiercely loyal followers and nostalgia :)
Only those who lived this era will understand the true meaning of this music and the vibe it brings..... today's music is trash..... so do your homework and recognize the real 🇵🇷
You know what? Freestyle songs & beats they are up-tempo and they have this certain few good Factor. You will feel good listening to it, it's different from other kinds of music including electronic music. Not all the music styles have this feel-good Factor. So I believe there is real really good chance that right after these times that we are going through people are going to be willing to embrace something like that... something that gives Good Vibes and makes the body move makes you feel like dancing. People are going to be ready to celebrate it. Party a bit more than usual once we are through these hard times we're going through right now. So I feel like there is a chance considerable chance for freestyle to have sort of Renaissance and hopefully the older artists like coro and Noel and Steve b and you know, the guys from the 80s and 90s can get a second wind on their careers, and I also hope that younger artists can embrace freestyle and write new songs and give them to the world
