@IANHANDS pretty clear you have zero concept of sarcasm and because you also don't know of our previous conversations you have absolutely no fucking clue what you're talking about. May I suggest going and reading comments from the past two years and you might understand the gist of what is being said 👌👍
@IANHANDS Ah, but you replied to a useless comment. We are all in the same camp, wouldn't you say. Besides, what's wrong with a little lighthearted humor? Hmmnn? Are things that bad for you? I feel sad for you.
Increase in cylinder filling caused by a spring pulling on a connecting rod. Makes perfect sense to me. You guys should try making engine blocks from play dough. Maybe pistons made from a cake mix with pretzel wrist pins and cylinder heads made from concrete. Make the valves from mushrooms and run the whole thing on maple syrple?
next experiment: link a wind turbine on the hood of the car to the crankshaft: accelerating the car will spin the turbine, that will in turn send more power to the wheels, making the car accelerate, etc...
You guys are so fun to watch. You're probably insane, which explains the attraction! This trick is certainly in need of further testing! It would be great if you had use of a dyno machine for testing horsepower/torque

Ummm not to be that guy but when you attached the Transparent oil pan you never put an oil pump and pick up tube back into it, that engine is going to die a horrible death....
It's actually pulling down on it it wouldn't make a difference if it was welded to the piston because the piston is connected to the connection rod. And if you did that it would get wrapped around the crankshaft
How about the spring toy car that you roll backwards to wind it up and then let it go?! Couldn’t that one way spring be used to propel a car forward with a lot of force in a drag race?!
You need magnets to repel the bottom of the rods, have them mounted on springs to absorb the reduction stroke. If not for drag, itd be perpetual lol jk jk
I would have to see the difference on an engine Dyno to believe it at all I mean I think it could help but to see that much of a gain I just don't know
What are we doing now? 😂😂 get ready to laugh. You gotta do a huge flywheel mass and use that to move the car by tilting it. Same way satellites make little adjustments to stay in orbit. Just a huge spinning top or gyroscope. 😂
Hum of course this system doesn't work, the energy of each spring cancel each out, so what did they do for it to work ? Maybe they changed the motor but it's very unlikely, maybe they did not accelerate as fast as possible in the first place ? Do u guys have a better idea ?
Okay i found that my idea was correct, i will explain why. This car looks like a lada samara, also called vaz 2108. I've searched for the slowest version which is a 1.1l of 54hp and it does 0-100 in 17s not 25s. I think that the one in the video is actually the 1.3l 64hp version which can do 0-100 km/h in 16s. He just didn't go full throttle in the first run.
two up two down, if the springs pull down cylinders that arent supplying power... like compression and exhaust... there will be a net gain from decreasing parasitic losses from friction and unused strokes. the two fireing will have additional force. because of the springs being over unity. the fired force being more than the unfired forces ... actually test this, go from weak springs like this, to more stronger springs. it should work better when you have springs that are a greater force than it takes to compress.
A 0-60 (mph) time of 25 1/2 seconds? That's so pathetic! Assuming that you bothered to lengthen your oil pickup to prevent engine seizure, the gain derived from the lack of braking on the crank from "oil roping", as we refer to the drag during operation.
Wait its april already???
I actually stopped the video and grabbed my phone to check incase the date on my pc was wrong lol
On April 1st send out "Crisfix" wiper brakes video

They're just getting warmed up. You'll see!

@baltazard133T Actually, from Nov 1 until April 1 is five months, but we understood what you're trying to say.
Don't forget to check your piston return springs ;)
They're not gonna return on their own
So sad
add nitrous to a stock lada engine til it cant handle anymore!

You guys will be building anti gravity engines soon!!!👍 amazing results!!!
that cutting tool used on the oil pan is very neat
Laser welder yes
Lucky These guys don't run the Russian milatary. They'd have converted that thing to chop drones in half from miles away already
lol.., these dude never disappoint.., even when they are pulling a prank..
This means that the auto mechanic joke to trainees “go get the pistons-return-springs” is probably over. Thanks!
No, watch the video to the very end. It has a 2nd ending.

🤔maybe they will try it - 🤣
You'd always waste more energy on the spring deformation than you get out of it as it bounces back.
Forget the 3rd law of thermodynamics it's November!
Hey there fellas. Today we'll be putting a particle collider in the Lada instead of an engine and see if it runs.
did he do a oil pickup delete?
next experiment: link a wind turbine on the hood of the car to the crankshaft: accelerating the car will spin the turbine, that will in turn send more power to the wheels, making the car accelerate, etc...
i think they already did that video
So, like a "faster than the wind against the wind" scenario, but with an actual car not a purpose built wind racer?
In theory the 4 springs should cancel themselves out, because when going up they create some force, and that force is what cancels the down force.
Great concept. Now they need to test the longevity of the springs.
Please build my opposed LA DA engine that will be the big one.❤❤❤
Vlad......🤔
Yes Springs and Explosions! Love it
Colder intake air would have accounted for that guys - Err hang on...25 vs 15 - Nah. April 1st? Indeed - wait till 10:26...

This channel is awesome keep it up gentlemen
Piston return springs
Next project: 1000 HP LADA !!
The springs should be welded to the underside of the piston and not the connecting rod.
The spring doesnt pull anything as it is now.
It's actually pulling down on it it wouldn't make a difference if it was welded to the piston because the piston is connected to the connection rod. And if you did that it would get wrapped around the crankshaft
Using that logic the crank doesn't push and pull on the pistons either 🤦♂️
I love this channel so much ❤
Build a time travel machine. That would be amaaaazing!
Springs tends to go for metal fatide, I experience this kind of failures on center frugal clutch.
The opposing springs of same tension cancel the benefits of the springs rebounding. 🤣
1st April so soon?
I would like to see a v8 lada engine please 👍
Insert one spring inside the cylinders. It will give push to power stroke
they've done that already.
Awesome idea
Do it on a 1 cylinder engine. NOw the up and down cancel each out
Whatever is saved in spring compression is lost in stretching it plus inherent mechanical losses. Ok, works for views and comments like my.
Wasn’t there a Honda D series like 1990s that came from factory with piston return springs?
Same forces applied opposite ways would really cancel it out surely as to be ineffective of any some what help or performance enhancement.
How many watts is your laser machine???
I was like hmmmm at the end of the video until your disclaimer then I smiled
You forgot to add the gearbox sand, no wonder it didn't work.
How about the spring toy car that you roll backwards to wind it up and then let it go?! Couldn’t that one way spring be used to propel a car forward with a lot of force in a drag race?!
Had me checking what month were in
It costs energy to expand the springs on the way up, why would there be such a significant gain on the way down?
really cool guys !
You need magnets to repel the bottom of the rods, have them mounted on springs to absorb the reduction stroke. If not for drag, itd be perpetual lol jk jk
Why not help engine move by electric engine to add bit more rpm?:)
There’s a lot of for sale here in Las Vegas… they want $10,000 for it. It’s red.
A lot of what?
I wonder if there's any gains in gas savings
I'm just going to call it the slinky engine

It's a joke 🤣
It’s just pure energy loss in moving the springs that’s it

Hello, can you make 2t engine from 4t engine?
In theory yes. If you use a supercharger & a 2stroke diesel idea probably
they already tried that
surely the 4 springs cancel each other out.
holy crap duno test this?!
