I clicked onto this video during a binge session of old GMM episodes and I thought to myself, "My school has an odd mascot, but they probably won't mention it." But lo and behold, at 4:55 Artie the Artichoke made an appearance!! P.S, it is also worth noting that we're no longer pink and white for colours, but green, yellow and white now. :P GO SCC!

I once got to wear the "Grimace" costume; when we put them on in the back to wrestle!! If you fall on your side as "Grimace;" You can't get up. Someone has to pick you up... LOL.

Since the intro of the episode started taht way, i'll share with everyone my personal story about mythical morning. In one episode Rhett said "i was at the bar i saw what was going to be my future wife, i stood up and i went talking to her, and that's how we met" well later the night of the day i saw that episode, i went out at the bar with some friend, there i saw this cute girl, so i thought of what Rhett said in the episode i went to her to talk a bit and to ask her telephone number. 1 month has passed since then and i'm now officially engaged with that same girl :) isn't that fuuny? :D thanks Rhett & Link!

9/9. Link is bad at lying. He's really easy to read, but I guess that's a good thing.
Whenever it's a real thing he emphasizes the absurdity of the name to make it sound fake. And when it's fake he rushes over it to make it sound real.

My mom and aunt were both Gorlocks, and each year they get a magazine from Webster with stats from the Gorlocks past Football season.

Yes we are the fighting pickles! Deal with it! LOL Yeah... you should see all the different t-shirts designed by the Visual arts department each year...they get a little crazy. Oh and our cafe that we have.... well it's called the Picker Jar. There's a wall with pickle comic strips, I think they change them each year but not to sure about that yet. Also a freaking gaint pickle sets behind the counter! If you are an musician, VA, dancer or film student you should come here. Not to shabby a school. It can't be to bad since I've been there 4 years!

7:58 That's my Alma Mater! I was there the year they updated the pickle to it's current strangely fabulous look. I've considered getting it tattooed on my shoulder.
I live in Whittier and yes our college does have the Poets mascot and we also have a giant "W" made out of flowers on a steep grassy hill right above the whole school behind the football field and track. Go Poets! We also were called the Quakers because of all the earthquakes we get here and thought it was catchy. :)
I live literally 10 minutes away from the NC school of Arts with the fighting pickle😂😂 I pass it every time I go to my violin lesson

Whoo UNCSA! I clicked on this video when I saw the familiar Fighting Pickle in the thumbnail. :) I'm from Greensboro, but a bunch of my friends study at UNCSA. The "skirt" is a tutu, since it's a huge ballet school.
Six years later and I'm still sad the Virginia Tech Hokies didn't make an appearance :(
