Oof, yeah I haven't heard anyone actually like The Ex Hex. I'm not really into romance but I do love witches, so I read the first two Stay a Spell books this spooky season and they were pretty fun! The first is called Wolf Gone Wild and the male POV has very Venom vibes (lots of internal arguments with his wolf).
That is my ranking of the Scream films as well. The first one is so iconic and I've seen it more times than I can count, but I have to say I was surprised by how much I liked the fourth one!

There's a little bit of plot stuff you won't understand at the beginning and end of the episode if you just start with episode, but if you skip a little you'll get to the statement.

I just picked up Nothing But Blackened Teeth this week. Very excited to read it soon. The Haunting of Jane Lawrence was a huge disappointment so I am hoping I like NBBT better!

100% agree with your Ex Hex opinion. I was disappointed and thought the whole thing felt rushed with flat characters. I also listened on audio and didn’t like the narrator so I think that also dragged it down for me :/
What do you use to check out audiobooks? I use Libby and the selection is terrible. It’s always several months until I can get an audiobook that I want.
I use Libby as well and Libro.fm! I’m lucky that my library has a pretty good selection and I don’t usually have to wait too long, I mean sometimes I do but every now and then I get lucky and can get a new release almost right away
also I just got Aristotle and Dante the other day and it immediately made me think of you, i wondered if you have already got it as well, cant wait for both of us to read it!!
