This spread really made think about tracking my health I mean really writing it down ..I believe I need to give my self an hour mornings noon and nite to write in my planner.. this really gave me encouragement to get started ..I’m just don’t take time out for it which I should ..

How did you start keeping track of all of this? I want to start tracking my weight, workouts, etc. but I have a bad habit of starting and not following through completely. Any suggestions??
That was the whole reason I started keeping a planner. It really helped me review the choices that I was making each day and help me to make better ones. I started just by tracking my workouts and food. I also tracked my weight once a week and measurements every 6 months. Having a fitness watch helps with some of the detailed info but you don’t have to have one. For example, you can estimate the calories burned during a given activity through info found online. Just start by tracking simply at first until you build up a habit that’s not overwhelming. Then add to it as you go and feel more comfortable. 😁👍

That’s right! I think we really have to be ready to commit and last year, I wasn’t ready.
I always want to start using a planner but it gives me idea that I will spend soooo much time decorating/journaling/planning then I won’t have time to do what I’m planing to do.
I get that. I almost cut a planner this year because it can be time consuming at times and time is valuable. But I think a planner or 2 is totally doable for busy people who want a little creative outlet mixed in. If you treat the time you spend decorating as downtime, creative time, self care time, you can have the best of both worlds! ☺️👍

I forgot to show the insert I made last year because it wasn’t even close to accomplished and I immediately moved it into storage.😂 The fitness goals are the same this year, though: lose weight, get stronger, improve wellness. What is the name of the fitness tracker that gives you your monthly stats; I watched this entire thing and I can’t remember where it was
I use an Apple Watch to track, then the app HealthView to get the data in a clean, easy to read format. You can also find the info in the Apple Health but it is alot harder to find. If you have a fitbit tracker, I believe you can get the same info through their app as well.

Thanks so much, April! Yes, consistency does help but it’s not everything, I’ve come to realize. Will and determination have been a weak point for me since COVID hit the scene, but the consistent tracking does help me confront my choices. And the creative side of planning helps keep me motivated to plan regularly. If I don’t want to look at my planner, then I find I won’t plan. Got keep it fun! 😁👍
