Sometimes the muffled effect of a distant vacuum can even sound better. Here we enjoy the sound of vacuuming from 1 floor above creating a muffled, distorted effect. Many people enjoy the sound of the vacuum cleaner for relaxation, to improve concentration, to help with insomnia, for ASMR, mindfulness, or to drown out distracting background noise. As a youth I resisted taking naps so much. It caught up with me in my later years and now I adore taking naps on the weekend. I wish I had a computer near where I sleep to put on vacuum sounds or other stuff that would zonk me out......mmmmmmmmm

Me too, she had a Kirby vacuum back in the early 1970s. Now when my Mrs. runs the vacuum I get the urge to run to the sofa and put the fleece blanket on me and sleep LOL I'm glad to know others understand this fetish we have.
@@willmack5909I wanted a room in a basement when I was a teenager and I had it when I was 14-26 or so and we moved to a one level with a basement that was used for storage so my room had to be on the main floor. I was sad my room wasn't in the basement anymore. Every Saturday during off seasons for camping she would vacuum and I loved it. I got used to her vacuuming with my room on the same floor but it wasn't the same as on the ceiling. I've been moved out for 3 years and I still miss the sound of the vacuum every Saturday. I'm glad this video exists (I may or may not of suggested it). I'll go back to this when I just want sounds to close my eyes too.
