I am a South African young professional and qualified CA(SA) currently living in the UK. I create content around career progression, self development, lifestyle & Travel. My goal is ensure every learner, student and young professional has all the necessary information to make informed career choices and live their best life. i always thought working in a big4 is a automatic passport to london, but just found out its not,, so i would like to know what does one have to do to get to london, high ITC marks? high APC marks?

Well if I remember correctly, she said one must always have their LinkedIn profile updated cause that's how she also was able to get a job in London🤷‍♂️through recruitment agencies that saw her profile during her 3rd year in articles, after the APC results!

You choose your location preference during the interview process as the big 4 usually hire for multiple locations and you may get your preferred location

I can’t answer your question. But there are no marks for ITC or APC. ITC is either Pass or Fail and APC is either competent or not competent.

You stand a much better chance but its not automatic, you still have to update your CV,Linkedin etc and start applying like everyone else. Make sure you make it clear which location your prefer.

Hi, from winter winter (end of November) until the beginning of summer (somewhere in May) the uk is 2 hours behind SA time and then during summer it’s only 1 hour behind
