This man had it all, a job he loves, lots of money, makes people happy and brings them out of depression, a good family and making music for millions, then he went a fucked it up

@@booradly1713 Some people are just not 'meant' to take drugs especially certain ones. GHB the most misunderstood drug of all time and meth, that was his 'downfall.'
Yeah because abusing babies was more important than all this, I just don't understand these sick losers, what goes wrong in the head of people like that.

@@gamesmovienation3516 It would be nice to believe that, as I once firmly and passionately did. However there's evidence to indicate he was up to no good before 2008. He was just more clever and clandestine about it. He was addicted to porn before he was addicted to drugs, when the two fused he acted like he couldn't be caught no matter what he did. His throwing a tantrum when they seized his laptops during a standard drugs raid (which usually doesn't happen) and another tantrum when remanded after a third/final arrest show he thought he was untouchable.
Just got through reading the court transcript and this guy is an absolute monster. The things he did, the things he had women do to their infant children is profoundly depraved. He deserves far more than 35 years.

The court transcript goes into graphic detail of what Watkins and "B" did sexually to her 10 month old baby boy as well as the texts detailing plans of their future sexual abuse. It's fucking disturbing his communication between the 2 female defendants, who were ready and willing to do and did do, unspeakable things to their very, very young babies. Read it. It's online.

Regardless of ian watkins, Lostprophets where an awesome band who we all grew up. It sucks that we will never get to see them again because of watkins' actions.
The rest of the band made a new band it’s just a different vocalist and they do t really make punk music a ymore
he sounds pretty replacable to me. Plus hes a POS so F that guy. too bad the band has to be linked to his bitch ass

lostprophets were a great band. Watkins was a really good frontman, good singer, charismatic, good-looking bloke, and could communicate well with a crowd. How could such an Evil depraved monster live inside a successful exterior like that?
The most exteriorly successful people tend to also be the most depraved...mainly because they compensate for their depravity. Most serial killers are noted as being charming, charismatic, good looking etc.
Not all...but just please bear this in mind if you're ever out and a really attractive man or woman gets your attention...turn the volume down and see what their actions tell you.
Most narcissistic, sociopathic abusers are good at adjusting and adapting, manipulating, putting on a show to appear one way to hide what lies beneath. It's how they get away with it for as long as most do.

Just watched videos of Lostprophets performing Last Train Home at Reading in 2004, 2007 and then this vid and the crowd always bounce and Lostprophets are always amazing. These guys will never get old!

I used to be such a huge fan of lost prophets but don’t listen to them anymore such a shame as they had some amazing songs, remember seeing them in Glasgow way back in 2012 a year before he got arrested, such a waste of perfectly good talent but saying that hope he rots in jail
