Wow I don’t know how your channel doesn’t have more views. I recently saw an exhibit with a collection of Lalique’s and was blown away! So happy to find this video and get to listen to his background/ history while making dinner. 😊

This was a remarkably informative essay on the biography of Rene Lalique, he is my favourite artist in the Art Nouveau period, and was highly skilled in the various techniques of design, craftsmanship, inspiration, and creating his every piece. Regardless of his medium. When asked to work on the muses of his works. His talented ability to convey how much skill and design elements go into each piece, he intends of those look at their status. He created more of the pieces that define the works of the truly great in his time. Cartier was one such genius…choosing never to explain the meaning of the choices brought to his displays…and the proper decorum required of the viewer. Your channel deserves more attention than it is getting. From my earliest memories, I said I wanted to be Renee Lalique when I grew up, and I am a jeweller and gold/silver smith (just not as accomplished as he). Please do keep doing this…your wealth of knowledge is brilliant…a work of art is always a work of art, first and foremost.🖤🇨🇦

Thanks for you Great Channel! I'm kind of surprised and delighted about your Channel format, knitting while talking about art history is Brilliant 😆🤩
just have a few tips if i may, one of them is that i wish you had put the first name of the Artist in the title too, cause you see i was really searching for videos like this (namely lengthy biographical pieces) about Rene Lalique, and also Alphonso Mucha, but i just couldn't find what I wanted, i stumbled on your video by chance and not while searching for these artists, so i think maybe more Hashtags and keywords would help with us enthusiasts finding your helpful content.
also i really adore that you knit whilst talking about these artists! such an original and also funny format! cause in today's era there is kind of an issue with women who don't like being associated with knitting because of all the stereotypes about this activity, anyway i was hoping that you would frame your videos so that we could see your hands and the piece being knit, if it's possible, i know sometimes it's hard in some spaces to find a good place to put the camera and find a frame that you'd like.
I also am delighted that you would cover such wide range of Artists, from Painters, to jewelry and Furniture designers, it's Really great.
    Thanks Agian, Best Wishes

Hi! Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot :)
Thank you also about name suggestion. I will definitely take it in consideration 👍
I'm still thinking how to work out the frame of the video so it was possible to see the knitting process. But I'm knitting almost on my knees so if I'm placing camera on knitting it cuts of my head 🥲But I will make out something because knitting is like one of the main themes here also.
Again, THANK YOU for your suggestions and thoughts. It very much needed and helps me to develop :)

      @@knittedarthistory8277 You're Welcome
I know sometimes it's hard framing a picture, if you back up you and widen the shot we would lose a little bit of your face expressions and if you bring the camera down it would cut you headspace 😅 i wish you find the best compromise
also i'm hoping you would be doing more videos on jewelry especially and furniture and home-ware designers cause there is a lack of content about this much important subjects from an artistic point of view,
      Best Wishes
