@@kevinprior3549 No, ECW teamed up with WCW in a staged rivalry with the WWF in 2001 before TNA was a thing. ECW came back to WWE in 2005, WCW was still dead, and TNA was doing well. But eventually years later, I think 2008 or 2009, ECW because WWE killed it while TNA was starting to thrive.

Coming from someone who has watched a hell of a lot more TNA in the last 18 months than WWE, i would say this, TNA marks are so eager for WWE to have their old guys on tv so they can throw back the endless criticism that TNA gets. What they forget is that WWE wheeled out "their old guys" and got 1 million buys for Mania. TNA could sign WWE's old guys and still get 1.1 ratings. And people wonder why?

Hulk Hogans words here are so Ironic. They are the exact opposite of the reality. Sting didnt come to TNA for Hogan. Sting had been there for almost a decade by this point. Hogan didn't come to TNA and save it. He left it a shell of itself.

I am not huge on Hogan but I will say this. He is pretty good as a heel in my opinion because he is not like the kind of heel that is cheesy and wants to cause havoc.. He believes he is doing something right. That art is rare but at the same time I wish Hogan was promoting TNA better than he has been. TNA needs to get names like Roode, AJ, Abyss, More known in the mainstream put them on certain shows just get known better.
That match was a great idea back in 1997...its 2011 and they are still in the main event, poor Robert Roode I really hope they give him the spot light. Rock vs Cena On April 1st, 2012 now that will be a great match.

I think the match between hogan and sting isn't going to be great not because of their age, because this isn't their first time in the ring together. this isn't anything new. this isn't anything special. it's annoying that people is trying to act likes this is epic.

This is what seperates the WWE from every other wrestling company. WWE always moves foward weather fans like it or not the don't swell in the past like what TNA is doing(trying to remake WcW again) In the end TNA will fall and WWE will still be around because they bring in new talent and keep story lines going TNA just stays withe same old people and its a shame.
Sting was 6-0 against Hogan in a 1v1 wrestling match before this match...... Hulk has never beaten Sting ever in 1v1.

This will be a handicap match. And it's a one on one match. But all kidding aside. I hope Hogan does have something to offer. You never know. Just would be better as a strait up match but interferences are bound to happen. Even something people may not expect. I really think something out of left field to many is going to happen. Just a feeling.
