For the record, I was taking pictures off the computer monitor using the WiiU gamepad. Keep in mind, the gamepad doesn't have a reverse camera, so imagine how hard it is to judge what you're taking a photo of when you can't see the screen. In a way, the shitty photos made shittier Miis, which is completely fine by mii.
