ONE OF THE LIGHTS STOP WORKING. THERE IS A NEW MODEL OUT I WILL BE SWITCHING TO THOSE SOON.

That's right it gives me a reasonable understanding of how I should go about doing the job. It's especially useful as these items can be found on ebay with it stating in the description "No Instructions Provided"

I wished someone got a hold of the 2017 versions drls and showed how to install them
You have to take the entire bumper off.

If you still have the car you should connect the unusfull wire to the pink of the flasher. Your drl will go from white to orange blinker

But after I posted the video, maybe like a few months after, the lights stopped working. I should have used a fuse tap but we learn from mistakes! ✌️
Will buy 1 on ebay shortly. For how long have you used it?? Asking bcose i saw that aftermarket led burns faster than original led

ian nick the lights turn on when the car is in acc mode or running.
My suggestion is to remove the bumper...yes I know is more complex, but keeping the wiring all over the radiator is not a good idea...it gets too hot and could affect the wires...the best is to keep those wires all the way down away from any mechanical part

I'm pretty positive that extra wire that you taped off is for turn signals. Also, I would never use a knife like that. One, it could damage things, as shown and two, it's just unsafe. I'd look into using basically anything plastic.
Yeah I couldn't think of something else besides the knife at the time. Haha.

Hi men, i don’t see where connect the yellow and the white wire, can you explain me?
It takes 15-30 minutes to remove the front bumper and attach the wires to the fog lights' wire. A handful of cable ties and your set. Never the less it is a lot more safe
Techerts I found it easy not removing the bumper.. but yeah that's always an optional.
@@Marvin1martian If we attached the wires to fog lights, that would mean these DRLS would work only when fog lights are on?

I believe I left the white wire disconnected. I forgot what It did. They stopped working a while back and I still haven't replaced them.
These don't work on sport models right? I got a 2016 Mazda 3 sport.
Angelo Guevarra the car shown on the video is a 2015 2.5 sport model, so it will work :)

When I put my yellow wire in the fuse like you do (on the 7.5 fuse). My drl lights turn on even when the engine is off. Am I doing something wrong?
I would have that problem too. They wouldn't turn off. What I did, unplugged the drl wires, disconnect the battery from the car for like a minute, put everything back, and see if the lights turn off. Hopefully it helps.
I had this problem too, my solution was just looking for another fuse and eventually found the right one where it would turn off when the car was off

anil solomon the fog lights can be bought on Amazon or eBay. If your car didn't come lights from factory. You need to buy a switch so you can turn them on

I've got a 2018 Mazda 3 50th Anniversary (no fog lights), is there a version for my car? I've been looking around, couldn't find anything.
2018s don't seem to work with the harness kit with the ones I've tried.
I’ve seen a couple on ebay as I’ve also been looking for them for my 18 but every one I’ve seen, the turn signal lights seems so be missing in the photos
There are definitely some for the 2017 and 2018 models as they share identical composition. But they also require you to take the front bumper off to install DRLs or fog lights
Could someone do a video of how to install the drl switchbacks for the 17s? I want to buy them but not sure not to do it
It's much harder and you have to take the front bumper off
Do they automatically turn on when u turn on the car or u flip a switch ?
Ceasar John automatically turn on when ignition switch is on.

When you put the yellow wire onto the fuse, how did you do it?
I put the yellow wire inside where the red fuse is, as shown at 2:23.
So I removed the fuse. I inserted wire where the fuze goes, put the fuze back in holding the yellow wire in place

I just followed the directions, I would recommend getting a fuse tap. I no longer have the lights installed on the car.

Question? I just hooked mine up weeks ago & they were running fine until two days ago. I went to turn off my car and they wouldn't turn off. Could it be that I hooked up the yellow wire wrong?

FRANKIE CRUZ I haven't had any problems with mine make sure the yellow wire has good connection under the fuse.. note: I did need to cut yellow cover to expose the wire more

They don't. Not the ones I got. I've seen some with yellow Indicators out there.

I messaged the seller and found out you could make this switchback DRL/Turn Signals. Just tap the blue and brown wires to the turn signal wiring
