yeah I been wandering about that , the use of english names and last names is even forbidden for actors there. Go figure cheap dramas
Actually they don’t have “English” names. It’s the auto translation app which just translate the Chinese words/intonations into English words from their data base eg it’s not Yates but Ye (葉），a Chinese surname and White is probably Bai (白） also a Chinese surname.

I actually really liked this drama a lot !!! Would have liked too see the faces of the others who doubted that she was Ms White . It’s funny how they both were to originally marry each other not knowing the others identity. They dragged it out too long for her being Ms . white . But this was a really good drama it’s in my top 5 favorites
