Don't try be someone else, be yourself.
Start learning from guitarists like Paul Jackson jr, Grant Green, George Benson. Start learning from saxophone players. Grover Washington jr, King Curtis, John Coltrane etc. Slow down vinai ts videos and learn from him. Record yourself playing often and make sure you’re playing in time and see how you sound. Really try and emulate the saxophone when you learn from sax players. Play A LOT. You’ll get there!
