Good video and also great that you make the plans available. Just a pity that they are not 1:1 when printed. Otherwise you could glue it directly to the wood and cut it out.

The free schematic has some inaccuracies, especially the 40mm spacing between holes in the base/body. Had to guess it’s roughly 5mm 🤷♂. Anyway great video will be making two

Sure would be nice to see some actual wood glue being used though. CA glue is good for anything you're going to put screws into, but I wouldn't trust it as the primary bond for anything. But regardless, those are really nice looking clamps!
Winegarden Worksh... don't knock the good ol' faithful CA glue! It actually can do quite a lot. Drawers, chairs, tables, cabinets and closets. But yeah doors, clamps, everything where regular exercizing force comes into play and everything outdoors? Powerglue. That stuff that foames.
If CA glue is wood glue that is. That white stuff.
@@theobolt250 No, CA glue is what's used in the video, the clear stuff. "Superglue".
CA glue's only advantage, is that it sets in seconds. The much stronger wood glues take longer, and they need to be clamped.
I use hot melt glue when I want a quick weak temporary joint. When a CA joint comes apart, it may mess up the wood.
@@hamjudo They make different types of CA glue, the one I have can take up to 2 minutes to set. that is why they also sell spray activators so the CA glue sets instantly if needed.

Toggle clamps should be screwed to the table beside the object. I made a Long Bar Double Clamp .This all-in-one clamp covers the entire table. Here is the link:

They are beautiful, but that is a lot of work to save a few bucks. I just saw $12 for 4 toggle clamps on amazon.
You are right, if this tool in your country costs money that you will earn in the worst case in an hour, then you should not spend so much time making it. But where the author is from, such a tool costs more than $ 12 and you can’t buy a quality one everywhere. So - sometimes you can do it yourself.

I’m in Iceland. If I buy one on the internet (no shops sell that). It ‘ll cost me $ 2.50 + $ 15.00 (for postage) + $ 4.50 (toll) = $ 22.00.

Я использовал 10мм фанеру, но можно и толще, в этом случае можно будет не использовать накладки для детали с болтом

Та-ак, понял... Эволюция идёт по спирали... Первый чел, который это придумал, сделал себе их ножовочкой, да стамесочкой. Другой идею запустил на поток - уже из металла. Э-э, зачем платить, подумал автор ролика. Куплю-ка я дисковую пилу, да шлифмашинку, да шурика, да шлифовальный станок - и покруче. И без ножовочки, без стамесочки дедовской обойдусь...
