an idea for Jerx! make it so that he always attacks the party member that interacted (aka, act or hit) with him last, even if they are down, but he has a priorities list (leader, tank, then healer.) each party member can independently interact with him, and if multiple try to at the same time, the priorities take place. this goes into the idea of how you can bait chess players into the wrong move by switching tactics.
As the phases pass however, he gets smarter until he starts prioritizing Kawaralseiaki(?) and beating the absolute shit out of him. Also, his weapon is the JUGGALORB

Might i suggests making metta knight susie? He has a rivalry with kirby unlike susie, who kinda just, let kirby kill her father
