I’m sorry I am just seeing these comments not sure why. No I didn’t but it did get fixed kinda. I realized it was something electrical or battery issue type problem because it wasn’t throwing the same codes every time. A mechanic that works where i used to work looked at it and fixed it. Said it was my battery cable was bad and replaced it. She runs pretty good again but I am the type that don’t like and won’t drive my vehicle if I know something isn’t rite. I feel like if I do knowing something is wrong it will just make whatever it is worse and prob break some other stuff in the process. Ya know? The thing that is bothering me about her (my Tahoe lol) is there is a code that pops up on my dash and it only does it when I have been driving her for a longer time for instance I just came home from Austin/San Marcos & I drove strait home to Houston. A little passed half was it started popping up. It’s something to the affect of JDA62GHAKS 0 (not exactly that but basically. I know it’s gonna be something crazy. I can just imagine and I’m scared to death to be vehicleless.
Mine turned out to be high pressure fuel pump. Took it back to the dealership, only had it for a day. It was a 2018 gmc sierra 1500 base. Also had a bad transmission. What a shitty shitty brand
2012 Escape...traction control, abs, brake lights all came on at once. Drives fine. I had it put on a scan tool and it came up with "No Communication with ABS." He couldnt pull a single code. Idk what to do next. Fuses seem to be fine. Is there a relay or bus I can check?
2016 equinox 3.6 have this code during driving, gauges turning on and off erratic shifting, then “stabling error” message and check engine light, scanned code get the code u0073 any help?
I took my 15 silverado to the dealer twice said nothing is wrong with it I'm still working on it but i still have reduced power and the dang u0073 code for the ebcm its been a headache
2014 Scion tC. I have this DTC and c1241. If I turn on the A/C or use high beams, the 'BRAKE', ABS and traction light go on. Really sucks with the heat lol.
@@zart3374 I fixed it. With all the complexity that could've been the cause it turned out to be a bad alternator. The NAPA alternator had perfectly OK running voltage and only was only a year old, so I didn't give it much thought. But I guess further testing was needed to recognize that it was putting out too much alternate current. Anyway the alternator was under warranty, so I got a replacement for free.
With the engine off, the battery should read roughly 12.20 - 12-80 volts DC. When the engine starts, the alternator should output 13.50 - 14.50 volts DC. You can look up the rated output for your vehicle, but around 14 volts DC is common. If the alternator output is under or over that range, there is likely an issue.
I reset my car by disconnecting the battery and the u0073 came back after the emissions system self checked. I haven't been able to get back and check that out more.
It will need to be troubleshooted, but wiring connections may not be sealed and may be getting wet. Sometimes, the computer (ECM/PCM) located in the engine bay loses the seal that keeps moisture out, which can also cause issues.
This gave me a better understanding of where I can start. Doing this job on my own and I am no mechanic. Fingers crossed.
You picked a hard one to start with and then maybe not if you luck out and can visually spot the issue.
Did you have any luck?
Update?

Will alternator affect starting?
If the alternator is under or overcharging, that will cause issues. It can be tested with a multi-meter.
@@HVAC_Mechanic Reads 12v like my battery and starter

This code popped up on my car and I have Pontiac g6 2007 and I’m not sure on what that means honestly my car won’t let me drive over 10 miles
