I think Sykkuno should have gone for Shining Flare Wingman he would have had enough ATK to run over most of the defense position monsters if not for the traps. I do respect the tempest play though it's quite tough to be in that situation. Ideally you get both out but they wasn't a way this time.

should he have used stronghold guardian to increase the defense first? and then use the trap to double that? @8:22
blau did the correct order. If he activates stronghold guardian first then the trap, the trap would resolve first and then stronghold guardian kicks in which the 1500 DEF will not be doubled.
the way chains work in yugioh, the last card played gets activated first so he had to do trap and then monster effect to get max damage.

he shouldve summoned mariner, low atk but also counters the whole deck since it lets you attack directly as llong as you have a card in the spell and trap zones, i wanted to scream so bad.

Why didnt he use Miracle Fusion to summon Plasma Vice, He had Sparkman in his graveyard and with vice's ability he would have destroyed the set monster.

by the looks of it he was just running the OG heroes and the links (which is honestly the most fun way to play Eheroes, and he has a counter in E hero mariner just NEVER played it for some reason)
