I am convinced that the only reason this is rated 17 is because 17 is a prime number. I'd say this is a lot harder than MAX 360 ESP, with those crosses in the 2nd half. For those not in on the joke, ZETA (named after the Riemann-Zeta function) is about prime numbers - the song is written largely in 5/4, 5 being prime, (which is a 3+2 count, both prime), this challenge chart has 811 steps (prime), 89 freezes (prime), and has 67 jumps (also prime). I really like the chart, though! This is cool, and if they're willing to do challenge charts like THIS on previous songs, I hope we see more of them.

I wont argue with the raise from 17 to 18, but I think some other 17s could have used it more. This one is tough on stamina but all its components are pretty doable.
Wait, why did the short version get a challenge chart, but not the full version? New Decade did get a full version whilst keeping its challenge chart, as seen in DDR II (for the Wii), so, I don’t know.
Long version was a CS exclusive and at the time the challenge chart didn't exist. New Decade already had a challenge chart by DDRII so it was incorporated into it's full version set of difficulties.

Well, the song did get an English title in DDR II. “Zeta: The World of Prime Numbers and the Transcendental Being”. Works well.
