This boss fight is so hard, it takes me so long to get potions and I die in the first second. I dislike the ai it has, but it’s such a relief when you finally win
@@grobeman yeah, my strat every run is to make a 10x10 box with a campfire inside and just throw like 300 spiky balls in the box with me, then have the slimy saddle mount and go into the top left corner and just bounce. Usually I have a regeneration potion too. The spiky balls hit them and my slimy saddle is bouncing uncontrollably on every part of the eow. Then It takes like 10-20 seconds for them to die. I’ve found out that getting even as early as cactus or tin armor is actually not that bad for this boss fight, but if you are doing an entire arena with platforms and such, armor might be a different story

Defeated EoW today with Demon Bow with Jester arrows and lots and lots of regeneration buffing items. God that was brutal but I lived! Great video too bro!

hey could you make a guide on how to beat 1.4.3 skeletron on master mode on a with drunk world, for the worthy, not the bees, celebrationMK2, and the constant world seed effects?
@@grobeman no it spits more when you are above ground. here is a DIRECT quote from the wiki: "When fought above the ground, the Eater of Worlds moves quicker and constantly fires Vile Spit at the player"

It's definitely tough at first, but with good preparation and learning its behaviour it's quite doable.

Note that you can get Weather Pain as Mage, it really shreds (it's a pain in the ass to kill deerclops tho)
True, Deerclops is arguably a harder boss in order to get that, but I guess if you're really struggling with the Eater it might be worthwhile.

This boss was always pretty easy until I tried it on for the worthy
6:40 if you die doesnt it just despawn? you have like 15 seconds respawn

It's a huge game. Deceptively simple at first, but there's actually so much to it.
I play on mobile and I already have the slime and Finch staff I've had it for months now. So if they are 1.4.1 then yes mobile already has it
You can get those on 1.4.0, which is what you have on mobile for now.

The only stronger part is the spit, because it can travel freely, afaik.
