    Like MJ, Antman drafted by the team, endured the ups & downs, stayed with it & now reaping the success. Antman has the same competitive nature that MJ had, wanted to be the best by beating the best.

    I think Denver made a fatal mistake losing to Spurs during the last game of the regular season. Now they have to beat Minnesota and OKC just to play Boston in the finals. If they had the no1 seed, OKC and Minnesota would have faced each other. Now there is no chance Denver is going to win the whole thing. I have also noticed they have zero bench point production.

    It's crazy because I'm from Chicago and the Jordan era and this may be the most legit organic comparison to Jordan. Even more than Kobe because Kobe tried to be Jordan. I don't think Edwards is trying to be anyone but himself. This used to be a career 💀 sentence to be compared to Jordan but not in this case. I actually do see some Jordan in this young man and I watched Jordan live in person when he still had hair.

  • @jordanjenkins1671

    I can count on two hands all the players the media tried to call the next Jordan. The only guy that really came close was Kobe. I prefer comparing Ant to KG or Jimmy Butler when it comes to mentality and level of talent at the moment.

  • @mig50cc
    @mig50cc 13 днів тому

    Hold on everyone. Yes, as long as AE continues like this and can avoid major injury (it happens unfortunately), he should be the face of the league for years to come. But he wasn't the only reason by far for the Wolves' success. They have a BIG team that frustrated the Nuggets. The height and ability of Gobert and KAT made Denver think twice in their shot selections. And now you also have to worry about Naz Reid! While AE's abilities are unquestionable, having a team of monsters makes him that much more dangerous. Denver is in trouble, and unless Mike Malone can figure out how to get DeAndre Jordan involved, Jamal Murray plays anywhere near what he's capable of (I know he's banged up), and the rest of the Nuggets play out of their minds, then this is going to be a short series because Minnesota, not just AE, looks unstoppable.

    Rewatching Jordan, it's incredible how fast and efficient he was getting to the basket or getting to his spot to shoot. I don't think anyone, even Kobe, has been able to replicate it. LeBron calls himself a "basketball genius" but Jordan was always 3 steps ahead whenever the ball was in his hands-he knew exactly what he needed to do and executed with precision. It'd be cool to see Ant rise to that level, but it's mostly an unfair expectation.
