I'm Venezuelan married to a Lithuanian, the video is quite funny and the lyrics are cool. I recognize some of the places it was filmed, those dunes have to be in Nida. Well I welcome anything that brings our countries closer.

I like the fact that they call my country by its former name! And hope that it will be its future official name too! República de Venezuela, not Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. To make you guys from Lithuania understand what I meant, It is like calling Lithuania "Republic of Lithuania" in times of the USSR, and not "Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic"! The official name of our country was changed by Hugo Chavez as soon as he took office in 1999 and started his "Boliviarian Revlution".

+Simon Gomez porque es una ridiculez: 1. hay múltiples países que se usan en sus nombres oficiales los siguientes adjetivos: popular y democrático; y no lo son en lo absoluto. Ejm: China, Corea del Norte, Alemania del Este, el Congo. En lo único que era consistente Bolívar y que está en nuestro himno es el panhispanoamericanismo. Él no consideraba a Venezuela como un país distinto a Nueva Granada o Ecuador. El régimen actual ha cerrado la frontera con Colombia por lo que el término bolivariano no tiene sentido. 2. No quiero un país que estimule el culto a la personalidad, por lo que le quitaría ese calificativo. Bolívar fue prócer de nuestro país, y cumplió una función histórica, pero de ahí a rendirle el culto al estilo Cesar en Roma como un dios es otra cosa que nunca compartiré. 3. Similar al punto 1, le falta el respeto porque esta gente tiene de bolivariano lo que yo tengo de chino. Usan a Bolívar para justificar todas sus acciones y eso está mal, mancha el nombre del libertador y lo tergiversa. Entonces tenemos la situación actual donde bolivariano lamentablemente significa ser chavista, y eso hay que evitarlo.

+Mindaugas I hope that institutionally and politically we will be Better off! you cannot be populist or socialist when you don't have revenues to distribute! but it's a pity that we lived the biggest resource boom that a Latin American country has lived in its history and this regime squandered it! this boom won't come back any time soon and unfortunately it will be super tough for the next regime to fix the economy without such revenues! we were the example of civility and democracy in Latin America and now we're the biggest joke and the example that everyone is suggested not to follow

Ellos pudieron haber hecho este video sobre Colombia, Panama, México o Perú que son destinos turísticos muuuuucho más populares que Venezuela. Yo más bien estoy contento que unos europeos promuevan el nombre de Venezuela gratuitamente. Y cuidado si no escogieron a Venezuela sencillamente porque rima con "vandeni gela" (agua refrescante)

Relájense un poquito. Esta gente agarró a Venezuela prácticamente al azar, no tienen idea de nuestra situación actual. Lo único que saben es que la gasolina es muy barata, que no hay invierno y que hay mujeres lindas. Para ellos es un paraíso, además leí que el vestuario lo eligieron en una tienda de segunda mano y ya, o sea que lo hicieron sin intencion de ofender a nadie. El problema de nosotros los latinos es que a veces nos tomamos las cosas muy en serio. En lo personal me gusta que a raíz de este video la gente en Lituania se interesó en Venezuela y ha empezado a investigar sobre nosotros.

This video not made for international audience its for local public, its about how life became dull and boring and hard and how sometimes people have dreams to go far far away, to places you know nothing, or very little about, maybe you know just only a name, maybe you read something in the magazine, but you hope its will be fun...,. Venezuela? Why not, sounds good. Nothing offensive here. That is main idea. Also they tried to put some fun into video, just for laughs, to make video more watchable, they used some absurd technique. Also used language is not easy to translate exact. It just some type of poetry in absurd stile with some doze of romantic meaning. All misunderstanding may happens, because in different parts of the world people may use slightly different humor, and singers very happy if they understood right. All this audience in Venezuela is very unsuspected for them, and they very happy if somebody understood them correct.
