I saw this video a few minutes too late. I've made a cover with MidJourney for an album to be uploaded on Spotify and it looked kind of similar to my face, but using this tool with the "original" image, it looks just like me. Thanks for all your awesome videos, Olivio :)

I'm confused by the bot's connection to MidJourney. Do you have to create a server with MidJourney? Or you can do without it? I don't understand, I'm just learning. @@RomanRoca-v5w you don't need Midjourney. This bot has nothing to do with Midjourney. You need a Discord server and there you invite the InsightFace Bot and then upload any image to that discord server and use the right click menu as shown in the video

Kind of off-topic, but I wonder if the Midjourney team would have done things differently with respect to tying their product to a Discord bot if they knew they were gonna become a serious contender in the text-to-image space. I guess it helped adoption since a lot of people already used Discord, but now being limited to essentially a chat platform as an interface when competitors can have a more purpose built image editing UI must be annoying.

Cute, but SD's image to image using a custom model and ControlNet is way better, with much more control on how much of the original picture (hair/beard/glasses) you want to preserve or overwrite.
Yes, but you need to train that and not everyone has the tools to do that

Sadly it isnt' working for me. Not sure why, but I did the step by step correctly. After I right click to the image and do "Applications" "INSwapper" Discord returns a "command sent" and that's all. It never returns the prompt

On SD, for the best result, you have to create your own model adding your pictures.
Then using image to image and ControlNet you will have far better results.
I don't know why, I followed every step you show but didn't work. Bot says: "command sent" but I see nothing.

Once you know how to use it it's so much fun messing around with it and then at 50 pictures it tells you to wait until tomorrow ...

when uploading the photo and puting the id name I have issues with Discord. It is written please enter value. I don't know why

Just a quick tip.
To set an ID if you have more than one, you'll have to use: /setid Set Current/default (ENTER) (ID_NAME)
after i try to hit enter to save id at step 3:28, it says "this option is required. please specify value". What do i do to resolve this

Im using /saveid command but it doesn't create the character. Photo uploaded , both bots invited in my channel, rights given to both of them. I tested more photos as well, still not working. Any idea how to fix that any1 ? ty

Hi Olivio, Here's something no one seems to be trying out. Please try seeing if AI Can Colorize a Black and White photo of people and Portraits and or people or person in a yard. If it works, please do a video so as to show us all. Thanks for considering. Terry
Yes that can work, but you have to turn colour correction off in the Stable Diffusion settings. Otherwise it will usually adjust to the original colours.
There are several ways to go about it, I'd probably first try using IMG2IMG with the greyscale photo with a ControlNet Tile Resample of the photo. Then depending on my results I'd add in a reference only of a similar Colour photograph and perhaps use the Control Net Colour option on top if I still didn't get the results I wanted.

Though to be fair looking into it a bit further, your best bet is just using one of the already existing online services that colour black and white photgraphs. They've been around for quite a while.
Look on the stable diffusion subreddit. People have done this and posted about it.
I have Photoshop Elements 12, and it already does colorizing, but I want to see you do a demo, so I can know how AI does this from your standpoint, I only want to see you try it. before I can decide if I want to jump into MidJourney or Firefly or Leonardo, so I ask one more time. I have it set up now so far, but I get this message "command sent, there are 207 commands in the queue" ... I've been waiting for an hour now and nothing happens? Is this normal? When the computer goes into standby and I turn it back on, the message is completely gone and nothing happend.

OK. I got it. After face swapping I don't see that any additional work can be done to the rendering. Is there a way to tweak post generation?
