Could you highlight any other characteristic elements of piano house riffs besides the use of Dorian mode and seventh chords? You have analyzed many tracks and probably noticed some patterns.
9ths are used as well in more soulful house. I was playing about with Expo Bass Sample and I need somebody as it uses some really interesting chords. It's a lot more musical that normal dance stuff and has some really tasty changes in it
