- The CT Sounds CT-1500.1D is a compact 1500-watt class d monoblock car subwoofer amplifier. The 1-ohm stable monoblock amplifier features a Low Pass Filter (LPF), Subsonic Filter, and Bass Boost so you can get the exact sound you are looking for out of your amplifier.

Running this ct1500 with a skar evl12 and it sounds amazing at 1 ohm. Stock electrical 140 amp alternator, agm battery, 50 farad rockville cap and 4 awg wire. Im dropping to 13.8 at full tilt. I also noticed an improvement of the amp after some play time, the lpf hovers around 60 hertz so dont be afraid to open it up a tad past where 80hertz should be.
Does the capacitor actually work?
@ward7337 I did notice an improvement with the cap.... but then I upgraded to the jp23 and is rated 2300 rms at 1 ohm and the cap became a bottle neck. Even after adding a second battery I'm way better off without the cap then with it. I'm just guessing but it seems that a cap can help until you start drawing more amps than the cap can supply. Also upgraded to 1/0 ofc wire and the ofc wire helped a lot also. It allows more current compared to CCA wire and I noticed less voltage drop.

I just picked up one of these with a ct 12" box (37hrz) with a meso 12..
Just got everything installed and im definitely impressed.. one 12 is plenty for this old bass head😂
Just ordered one, going to be pairing it with two audiopipe txx-bdc4 10" subs, if it blows em' ill get some meso's!

@@Bulletii amp is more than solid, slam the hell out of the 10s and after a hour of very loud music, thing barely gets warm. Wish I got the 2000.1d so I can upgrade the subs in the future however

I have had mine for a little over a year and it's still cranking out the power it's a little hungrier for power than I thought it would be but, even without being able to provide 14.4v it's still cranking out the power. I'm working on an extra battery for it now.
I'm using it on the CT Sounds Strato 10" in a ported box tuned at 35hz
nice little amp 650w 4 ohms is impressive.

Hi there! Efficiency is very important to me...can someone tell me about efficiency? Will be great to know...I don't want to spend extra money in batteries and alternators..those numbers with stock alternator and regular battery will be great!!
It’s amazing on efficiency in the mid 84-85 .
I have one stock alt and running at 1 ohm.
Wow, amazing how this has almost the exact same power output as the scar 1500.1D. Almost like they came out of the same chinese factory. Not bashing this! :) I'm going to be getting one as soon as I decide on which CT 12" to get.
I have the Strato. Handles it like a champ

2ohm was clip clip clip and 4 ohm clip clip maybe can be adjusted out fully but not bad i myself would have liked to seen what it can do on a subwoofer not just dyno

What is the difference between certified uncertified and dynamic
Certified Test: This test uses either a 40Hz or 1kHz test tone to capture the amplifier’s maximum RMS wattage output at 1% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). It is more towards people wanting to run a Sound Quality (SQ) system. The certified mode is calibrated by an audio analyzer to guarantee the 1% THD is dead on.
Uncertified Test: This test measures RMS wattage at the clipping of the waveform. It goes to clipping and is more for your Sound Pressure Level (SPL) systems where you have long drawn-out notes like test tones.
Dynamic Test: This test is more of what you will see playing music. It is more for your quick-changing bass songs. To some, Dynamic is what you would want if you listen to music other than Rap/HipHop/R&B.
Is this amp too much for a 10 ct strato? My amp is dying and I need something to match the speaker

I am running 0 gauge power wire. Currently I am running a amp at 1000 rms without any electrical issues but I have turn off pop I can’t get rid of. This problem did NOT happen with my Alpine amp before upgrading.
1. Does this amp have turn off pop issues?
2. With my current set up I have a 100 amp fuse inline with my power wire.
I only need 1000 rms TOPS!!! Can I run this amp with my 0 gauge wire set up with my 100 amp fuse? Your company suggested 150 amp fuse but I don’t need that max power.
I am REALLY getting sick of that turn off pop!!!

Just bought one and it doesn't have enough gain. I turned it all the way up and it still not as lout as my 600 watt alpine. Also, it doesn't sound nearly as good. My alpine had the gain set at about 65% at full power before clipping. This amp is turned all the way up and still doesn't even have 600 watts. This is crap!!! It's supposed to have 850.
So this amp is completely garbage at anything other than 1 ohm. At 2 ohms it had no power and all of a sudden it had more power but still not enough. At 1 ohm it's decent though. 👌 idk how to feel about ct sounds. Tried giving it a try but even my woofers that I bought, one was not glued to the spuder

The gain is not a volume if it’s set correctly it will pound the heck out of 2/12 inch subs.
It’s slamming my 2 /12s @1ohms.
I don’t know why anybody would open the gain wide open almost any head unit doesn’t match wide open gain.
To much gain =incorrect voltage= distortion trash sound.
@chadmilligan342 I guess the amp needed a break in lmao 🤣. Seriously though after like a week it started working fine, I was super disappointed at first but for some reason, it got stronger and stronger, and all of a sudden after like a week it just started pounding. And sure 2 low-power 12s. It pounds 2 of my 10s pretty decently.
Install error this amp is more than enough to push my JL subs ,I've had it on W6s and a 13w7 it's a beast

There actually really good subs and it drives them hard.
It’s just my backup amp any ways.
I have a 2500 watt sundown AMP it really gets them moving I use it now but if something goes wrong I have a few backup AMPS.
