I am doing my research in these days. Project is focusing on achieving higher data rates using Multiple Inputs and Single Output (MISO) in a Visible Light Communication system rather than using a Single Input Single Output (SISO) VLC system. This video help me to do this type of works. Thank you sir !
I'm a final year management undergraduate of state university in Sri Lanka.. Thank you very much for doing this kind of video. Actually this is not limited for only one area. These days I'm doing my research also. So this is timely important for every undergraduate.
Thanks for both of you because there is so much in-depth info out there that it becomes quite overwhelming but more important for undergraduates like me. 😄😄
I am a graduate student and I have not started research yet but I hope to do some research. So these days I do unofficial research on how to do research. I have to say this. You and your videos are like an unofficial supervisor to me for that. I am so grateful for sharing your knowledge and wish to continue this valuable service. Thank you very much.
I’m a 4th year mgt undergraduate in usj ,,, this is so much valuable ❤️ and the most valuable thing is i got the enthusiasm to continue my research because before i had nothing as this and knew nothing about the research,,, Thanks a lot dilushan sir 💕
Why do not you question Dr. Dilushan's recent 5 years publications? It shows his strength in his research area. Hope you will ask this question in a future interview.
Thank you very much Dilushan sir and Fadil ayya! One small question. I was once advised by a lecturer of mine to start a research in my 3rd year and 'continue' it in my 4th year. I'm 6 weeks in to my 3rd year and due to the current situation, couldn't get started on it; but I'd like to know HOW to get started on a research in my 3rd year. (more specifically, a worthwhile research that can be continued in my 4th year like my lecturer advised me to do)
It's best if you discuss with the student counsellor in the specific department to check the areas of research the professors/ lecturers are currently involved in. (example Dr. Siyath from Department of Physics). The next step would be to discuss with the relevant researchers whose research areas closely align with yours and of course the current PhD and Undergrads involved in research. In the meantime you can also visit few research facilities in the island to check what they are currently working on. So when you visit the relevant professor you can propose a topic with enough background research. While the department may not be able to fund the 3rd year undergrads, your contributions should be welcome especially for analysis work. While this doesn't gurantee with the one you intend to work with, you should be able to find a professor who would like to work with you if you are capable and interested. Also I'd suggest a few internships at research facilities during your yer end breaks. Speaking from my experience it really helps you to get that industrial exposure as well to determine whether you want to pursue a career in academics or industry. Hope it helps.
