- Have you been looking into the Mast Tour Pro from Dragonhawk? This review has been in demand so here we go!
In this video we will dive into an unboxing and review on the Mast Tour Pro. From unboxing, checking out the machine close up, we will wrap the machine, test the performance and I will relay my opinions on the Mast Tour Pro.
In my opinion and final thoughts on the Mast Tour Pro is that this a work horse and power house of a machine! From lining, packing color or black, fine lines, pushing larger needle configurations, shading, whip shading, stippling, pepper, dot work, you name it, we can do it!
The Mast Tour Pro is a well rounded machine especially for the price point and performance! I gave it 4 stars in the video but I want to give it a 5 out of 5 total because of these reasons listed above. I will list a link below for you so you can check out this machine on your end.

Thanks for showing your real using experience of mast tour pro and T1 battery !! really like your video style. Hope to hear more feedback from you soon!!
I just got the X5 it’s awsome! Can you change cams?? And other question are there dragonhawk machines that use the same battery so maybe that would help me decide on my next machine if I could reuse the batterys
I like how the practice skin has texture on it, I’ve never seen that before
Please do review on both mast tour pro and mast tour pro plus...🔥♥️
I really like how you showed how you wrapped the machine.
It looked like a really small machine; as you had said, the machine with the battery looks well balanced. It's definitely a 'maybe one day' buy for me. Thanks for another great video!
For the mast tour pro can you use any kind of cartridges?
I have the same machine. And yes you can get to the motor. The back is just on super tight. Scraped the paint off mine trying to open it.
Did you use pliers? its so tight
@@peterr686 wrapped a fake skin around it for grip. Pliers might scrape it
Just started and picked this machine up , dope detailed video 🔥🙏
How’s it holding up
You’re videos are amazing ! I may have to pick up the new Mast!
This is one of my favorite machines to use for an all around good versatile machine, i usually dont need to have more than 2 machines ready when I use the Tour Pro tbh. I use a similar style battery as the one you used while wrapping it up and it has beaten out one of the more expensive brand pens I own for life expectancy and I would have never guessed that would happen.
True words, good is not ever expensiv.
Nice review! Thank you so much!
Users of this - do you tend to let the needle hang all the way out or ride the tube and have needles flush (or inside)? Im talking about during bold lines, like for traditional style tattoos.
Thanks!
How does this one compare to the regular mast tour you reviewed in October 2021?
I was thinking about buying either the mast tour or the mast tour pro and I'd love to know which one you'd recommend.
I heard the regular mast tour has issues with voltage (works well up to 8 but starts overworking at 9+) does this one have a similar issue? or is it better on that front? Thanks in advance.
How come my battery packs are different tho??? When I ordered mine???
Sir mast player edition kaisi machine hai
Hey. You're videos are super helpful and just wanted to say Thank-you for helping all of us that are learning. Would you be able to recommend a financially friendly machine for living and shading as well as good cartridges for lining. I live in Canada so amazon is limited compared to the states.
Nice machine ⚡️😊
Can you review the the Dragonhawk mast flip pro please?
How do you lubricate the mast tour pro? Thank you
I think a tiny bit of Vaseline on the end of the plunger and then put it back together or just rub vasoline on the inside like a light layer
That 18rl tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It is 1 of my favorite needle configurations! I personally love tattooing bold lines with larger configurations like the 18RS.
@@DanielYuck yea I'm still using smaller ones. Thank you for showing us all!
What's your opinion on fake skins? Like which brand or do you have a video?
That’s a great question!
I actually have a hand full of videos and I will leave some links for you below so you can check out some fake skins that I recommend checking out. Should you have any questions feel free to drop a comment.

Do a giveaway so I can get that machine 👀
I have this machine and I’m having a issue with it spitting ink when I’m using RL can you give any advice? Thanks
Ahh I will experience this issue from time to time. You can try a few things such as lowering the voltage, trying different needle depths as well may help to resolve the spitting of ink. Typically I will take the voltage down and adjust my needle depth until I find a good comfortable setting and the ink is no longer spitting.
Are you using a coil or pen style tattoo machine?
@@DanielYuck I am using the pen style tattoo. But thank you so much for giving that tip! I was looking on UA-cam for the answers but this one might be the issue! Thank you❤️
What voltage do you line at
Will you have Lyla use this machine, as well? Does she have a preference in the machine she uses?
Considering the size of the machine I think it is one she may consider using. She recently got a custom pink Dazzle Tattoo machine from Dragoart. It has her logo on it and it's in her favorite color, she also loves the super compact size of the Dazzle machine.
I think her preference is whatever she visually likes at the moment until she develops a sense of what she would want out of a machine.
She did an unboxing on it in which I will link for you below so you can check it out.
ua-cam.com/video/I9nxb0cfakY/v-deo.html
This machine will work for PERMANENT MAKEUP, eyebrows, lips?
That is a great question! I am sure it can work for the application but I am a bit uncertain if it would be ideal. I would want a super soft hit and a lower voltage when doing such delicate work. It really depends on the technical application as well of the artist.
This think looos awsome
What would you recommend more the MUMMY PEN or the MAST TOUR PRO ??
Hey man, Where do u get ur machine? Is it a german or chinese motor?
Mast tour pro is the Chinese motor!
Mast tour pro plus is the German brushless motor!
Great video and awesome art work!
What are your thoughts on pairing budget machines with a higher end power supply? I've heard the performance of budget machines (Mast, Bronc, etc.) can be improved with a better power supply like Critical
To me..power is power.. as long as it is the voltage that it says it is i see no difference in cheap power supplies vs. My critical..
Which do you prefer, mast tour or the pro ?
You can remove the top part to access the motor. At first its tight, use long nose pliers, but put thick clothes on the machine or you can wrap the 2 legs of the pliers with rubber tube maybe just to avpid denting the top part of the machine
Cool little machine, just out of curiosity is it comparable to the Mummy short pen with Japanese motor(with battery)? The way it works and how you tattooed with it looks somewhat similar, and when it says normal working voltage 5-8v, it's OK if you go higher with larger needle groupings?
Thats a great question my friend!
I feel we can compare any machine but performance will always certainly or almost certainly vary. For me if it is the same machine I am thinking about from mummy I would say the machine are different in their own sense. If it is the machine from mummy that I think you are referring to I would say that I would personally use the Mummy machine for fine line dainty tattoos and small needle groupings and for the Mast Tour Pro I have more abilities. I can use it for dainty fine line tattoos as well but the mummy machine design feels more tailored to small tattoos.
So what I am saying is I feel it would be a personal preference situation and what feels right to you as the artist. In terms of pushing a machine past the recommended voltage I am sure we can get away with it but me personally I don't like going outside the bounds of the manufacturers recommendations.
Plus I typically am running at 8 volts and below anyways and never below 5 so thats a perfect range for me. It goes back to personal preference and what we need out of our setup, I feel.
That's the answer i was looking for, your max voltage is always 8v(you may push higher just to test the machine out) with larger needles too, when i first started watching tattooing tutorial videos on UA-cam,the majority of them says they lined at 9v with powerful machines like the Sol Nova, and machines running 11500rpm @ 8v which i found was ridiculous, maybe they're comfortable with it but with thumbnails saying tattooing for beginners, that i felt was absolutely bull****, so glad i came upon your channel and it's the only tattooing channel/videos i watched as i've mentioned before..thanks for your professional explanation and expertise,i never exceeded 8v with 18rs or higher after watching your videos and i'm completely confident and comfortable with it,my handspeed matched and my tattoos much2 better then when i'm running at higher volts, and always, thanks for the advice Sensei
Is this the 4mm stoke are the 3.5 my frist pen was the mast tour pro s 3.5 stroke .but now they have the 4mmstroke
This is the 3.5mm version. I have yet to get my hands on the 4mm version but if I do I will be sure to do a review and comparison.
What are your thoughts on the Mast Tour Pro?
@@DanielYuck I like it very good starter tattoo machine. And I want to say big thanks too you for the video on the budget friendly video you did and I odder the dragonhawk pro tattoo kit with 4mm storke and I'm loving it .its also a dragonhawk machine its not the atom but the one next to it on Amazon. I am saving up now to hopeful get me a CNC machine. and iv got a box of 2nds fake skin and 6 sheets of the trueskin realskin so iv got alot of skins to use up but im really hopeing to get me eather a CNC machine are the mast flip are mast archer and one day a inkjety or bishop packer
4mm was released just a month ago
Hi brother, i see there's are few click sound comes when you start opening up the machine, what is the clicks for is it to set up the needle depth that we need ??
The grips control the needle protrusion so they have a little ball and click to stay in place basically
can you choose me a machine for making eyebrows that easily makes haur strokes please
Thats a great question!
There are many options but a few off the top that come to mind are from Inkclaw, Dragonhawk. I would go with a PMU machine
Off the top these are great to check out and start with.

I bought the same machine but it’s not packing or lining any of the ink. Barely anything stays . Does it only work with dragon hawk cartridges and mast cartridges?
Nop, i use it with different cartridges and get the ink Well packed into the skin
Moist skin, good angle, and i stay away from cheap carts.. machine has ran for me for.a long time

Thank you so much! I appreciate you !

Can this machine tattoo eyebrows with good hour strokes? Thanks
You just unscrew the top with the motor...just like the grip
Thank you so much Jeremy!
I will make a video demonstrating that aspect of the machine and I will probably go about showing how I will sterilize it.
It's a solid 5 of 5 tattoo machine imo!
looks good. I want one.
It is well worth the investment!
Great, solid, well rounded tattoo machine. Hits hard, lines, packs, shades, and it is easy to sterilize.
I might try larger needle groupings with my mast tour pro. So far i only used 9rl / 9rs as the highest. But will definitely try 11rs or 14rs as i am into traditional style tattoos with bold lines.
me too!! I need that type of practice skin fr
what volts for lining ?
7.5 to 8 voltage is the sweet spots
Is there a need for that much grip tape? Why do all the artists use so much ?
