TitanToons mini: Experimental High TTK

- Balancing a game is harder than you may think...
A few months ago Titanfall 2 ran a fun playlist for a short period of time with an experimental high TTK (time to kill) as its main feature. It was really fun and challenging but I don’t recall ever been executed so frequently by melee attacks than while I was playing on this game mode. That’s when I came up with the idea for this story.
This mini is also my tip of the hat to Nintendo and all the amazing memories that I have playing their games. I tried to make most of the references related to an aspect of their culture and if you are a fan of their games, I hope you can also relate in some level…..pun intended…..I’ll stop.
It is thanks to the constant work and dedication of developers that we can enjoy games that continue to create irreplaceable memories. To say that I’m honored to be part of a development team as dedicated as Respawn would be putting it lightly.

I love every single TitanToons video! Whenever I need a laugh (or just feel like it), I watch these. The fact that you also worked on Titanfall 2 makes it even better! Thanks for making these! I show them off to people whenever I can! They are hilarious and creative and just add another reason to love the game. Everything about TitanToons is brilliant and I can't wait to see what you do next!

I laughed so much they nice job as always Moy. I remember trying the High TTK game mode and immediately stomping with the Kraber since that weapon was still a 1-hit kill regardless where you hit an enemy with it. XD When I played it all the CoD kids who couldn't stay alive for more than 5 seconds were there... And because they never did any wall-running or anything it made their movement very predictable. XD So I'd end up with some crazy KDR in that mode like 25/1.
supersonic2K8 yeah man, the high ttk mode was a lot better than the normal ttk, but people started whining because it's so hard for them to camp and get that amazing kill streak when it's not low ttk...

I relate to the melee'd pilot. L-Star was SUPER weak on that mode but I'm so glad it happened. It helped influence this.

*PikachuLiam-_-* Ok let me just clear things up. There was a time when there was a high ttk game mode in the game. The developers wanted to see how the community would react to it. eventually they ditched it because of melee being to strong for a high ttk. That's also what they said in the ttk q&a if i remember correctly. The creator of titantoons is not a developer though.

It's the "Super Smash Bros. Brawl Melee Menu Theme". Just search it, there are plenty versions out there for every sequel of the game.
