Was a fan of the initial eau de Cologne Eau Noire. Just got a 250ml bottle of the new formula. The new formula is respecting the tone of the former formula but has been toned down regarding the wildness. Very good but for me the initial formula is still the best, more bold than the new one. But the spirit is still there. And regarding the general appreciation, I must contradict the video: I got tons of compliment over Eau Noire. However if the fragrance is very much appreciated by the women, men on the other side generally tends to have a mixed opinion, rejecting it to be too strange.
Perhaps a first date.....that goes wrong? 😆 With a fraghead (that's good!). That doesn't seem all too interested (that's bad.) But you have a lot in common (that's good!). They don't like the way you dress (that's bad.) But they love the fragrance! (that's good!). The fragrance contains pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate...................(that's bad.) Can I go now? 🤣
my mom really likes Amber Nuit. First I disliked Oud Rosewood, then after second day smell it, i just got hooked. Eau Noire smells weird, like medicine.
Really not that weird at all. Has a fresher yet woodier take on New Haarlem vibe. I hate licorice but love this. I would say it comes across more like wormwood than just straight up licorice.
I sampled this when it first came out and loved it. I don't like vetiver much but it was great in this with the lavender and vanilla and the other green notes....very well done.
Vanilla, coffee, lavender, anise, and herbs. It’s industrial smelling, like very odd. I like my old decant from 2010 but I’d never want a full bottle. It’s just too sharp and odd.
What do you think of Eau Noire?

This is a perfect foggy day scent, feels very vampire-like, and especially with that old green juice color
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
Great review. How does it compare to the older version?
it’s a sad re formulation, nothing equivalent to the original recipe
Yes! I've got the old one and I love it
I love black licorice i wish dior would let kurdijan release this as male designer fragnance we need hypnotic poison for men

I just wish they would bring back Granville from that line. Its my happy in a bottle.
Same. Granville is so amazing
Yes! I loved Granville!
I find it quite sharp...it is too spicy. I have 250 + 450ml bottles but may will swap for something else sooner-later.

Unfortunately because the new formula, doesn’t last long on me. Maybe up to 3hrs

It’s like licorice flavored pancakes. Strange indeed.

yes you`re right. it is typically too sharp and itching. there is something out of control in it. maybe herbs?
