That's impressive dude; kudos! Your fretting hand often times looks just like JP's hand man. Love the heavy rhythms and that killer melodic solo! Very well done and covered.
Sounds good, super tight The outro lead actually sounds better than the album to me - not that Petrucci's playing is ever bad - just that the production of that part sounds harsh and brittle to me on the album.
@@TJ19_Forever I use Fraps to record it and use VLC player to slow the playback speed. Sometimes I can never get it slow enough to figure out the shred :)
@@ClevyTR6 you can set the speed in the UA-cam video settings when you watch a video...you don't need to work so hard...just go to settings and playback speed and choose a speed while you're watching a video...
Nice effort! You played that interlude palm muting is super tight and clean. I played this for my Berklee audition and I didn't get it that tight. Did you use a hair tie? (A hair tie wouldn't have been feasible for my live audition since the interlude ends on that open A5). A couple small parts where you rushed and a few of the solo's fingerings are not the same as Petrucci's (check Petrucci's live performances.) This cover is definitely the closest to the record I've found. Excellent work!
Rewatching again.. love this Mastah Sung 👍👍👍

Can you please make videos of how to play these songs...like lessons !! it would be great !! and nothing to say ....you played flawlessly !!! hats off
Just watch where he plays them on the fretboard and listen to it by ear. You will become a better guitarist that way.
@@cwoodside907 yeah man you're right !! It'll develope my hearing skills. Thanks
