Duran Duran has and always will have a significant place in my life , and a special place in my heart . I remember when I was a teenager , lots of my experiences revolved and evolved through Duran Duran's music . They were ahead of their time, with sheer artistry and brilliance they took the world by storm. I never was the type of fan that screamed and swooned over the bands members ( they're sexiness was an added bonus ) The music they left behind is their true legacy .
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I agree with you wholeheartedly being an 80s teen myself. Duran Duran brought happiness to me with their brilliant music and music videos.
speaking about iTunes... Duran Duran was the first musical artist to sell their music on-line, before iTunes and during the "Napster" craze. It was a song called "Electric Barbarella".
I watched the piers Morgan interview with Duran. The guy doesn't give them much time to answer anything. He definitely likes the sound of his own voice.
DURAN DURAN has been apart of my life from 1980 thats nearly 40plus years, they have reinvented themselves so many times, iv got alot of respect for Duran Duran there very talented also very underrated group of our time, why are they in the music hall of fame they have certainly earnt it more than some for sure!!! Duran Duran are far as better than the beatles.
Thx for posting. Whatever ppl think of PM 's interview style generally, this is in actual fact a v good interview. The guys were relaxed and they weren't asked the usual trite questions re their history..the bit about their opinion of how they listen to music and the industry was insightful because it demonstrates what we Duarnies always knew, they are relevant to modern times, never afraid to exploit new technology and always at the forefront of change.
@@michelerenea6477 Losing the voice in this context means "losing his ability to sing", not becoming a mute: duhhhhhhh! Are you so dumb that you couldn't even understand what I meant in the first place?
All You Need Is Now is a fantastic album and been referred to as the closest to Rio they've made since 1982. Try Runway Runaway, Girl Panic, Being Followed. All on UA-cam of course.
Thanks so much for posting this, I missed it when it aired! Great interview, but I always miss Roger when he isn't there, and wonder what naughtiness he's up to.
I crack up every time when I see Simon trying to say he is not "dangling [himself] out there like he is available" and John reacts and Simon loses his ability to keep a straight face. 11:15
Theyre really great people in interviews. Im a little rough around the edges, scared if theyd run into me in town theyd be a little dismissive....and i know most of the elected officials in my town.
They all have aged very nicely. Simon Lebon and Nick Rhodes are my favorite. They are supposed to be touring this year coming up in 2021 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.💋💋.
i can't believe PM(S) got the joy of interviewing DD. i have a very sad attittude towards the band for personal reasons and may not believe they're exactly "glam rock" or honest folks when it comes to certain things....but they were way too good to talk to this blah blah blah bloke.
You handsome lot Duran Duran, glad you met up lucky combination , never be a combination like this again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️only one unique Nick Nick 👀🤩🐾🐈⬛

He talks over everyone- just ugh.
He’s a pompous fool. I feel sorry for him.
I know, right? I kept thinking "Why did they need to go on his show? He's such an insufferable dolt and they're too good for him."
@@renatofabbro5263 totally agree!
Nice interview. Love to see the boys in good shape, and the still are. The body of work still grows in a beautiful way…
These 3 guys are just awesome! Love, love how well they get along, and how much each mean to eachother!

+Rif2020 Darn typo!...i meant *Duranies* of course
If Simon LeBon lost his voice he could ALWAYS turn into an acting career!
yes! I've always wished he would appear in films

Escuchar las canciones de Duran Duran es devolverme el alma al cuerpo cuando tengo algún problema simón que voz guaooooooo
Don't like Piers Morgan, don't like CNN, but I love Duran Duran, so I watched it, pretty good interview overall...

I know his wife had a baby a few months before this interview. That might be why.
I missed it too i was working late didn't know it was on that evening thanks for posting x
I wish I had gotten All You Need Is Now on vinyl when it came out
Wonderful! Thank you!
No one who mixes "their" and "there" should ever be taken seriously.

10:50 "we never went down that road"
John "coked up from 1982-1996" Taylor
I think what he meant is that they never used heroine like Amy did.
1994 he went to rehab!

"bloody geordies"
I think you mean Brumies...!
Who on backing vocals?? Smith? Who's that?
They've loads and loads of backup singers, different with every few shows, it seems like.
Vinyl is the way to go ... it may just take off at some point 😎👊
Could you make this available for mobile devices as well, please? I would be grateful:)
I saw them in 2016 and man was I pissed they never played a single track off AYNIN.
@hmenon2003 He said Heroin. They were into cocaine and drinking.
JT looks so hot still!
They are dead right on the vinyl thing;-)
Duran Duran teaming up with Prince that would be something
Duran Duran were very good in there day but I can't listen now to there current styles!
like e.....
Simon, please shave!
Why??? he really looks good in a beard
It's a failed attempt at hiding the bloated cheeks.
