Hi. I only just discovered this. Your presentation is excellent-clear and not too fast. I really appreciate your skill and effort. :-)

    Davie~
Thanks for the pattern, I was going to send you a message asking what you like to use towards the end of the season. You answered with this video. I'm heading fishing this weekend. I've tied a few of these to try, the fishing by me has been really slow, with all the rain we've had this year there just isn't much coming off the water at all. Thanks again for the great video.

    Hi Davie
That is a great idea adding the hackle to it. Gives it a little more movement.
    Thanks for the Great Vids

@DavieMcPhail Thanks for the reply, im a begginer fly tyer with a low budget and ive noticed that indian saddles and necks are cheap compared to the genetics. Can these less expensive options still be used to tie the hackle on flies like the adams dry fly? thanks

Thanks Davie, like all masterpieces they stand the test of time. Appreciate your willingness to share what you tie and how you tie it.
Ps do you think this is a variant of the blue dun?

    Hello Davie,
You mentioned tying these lighter and darker. What changes in materials do you use to make the other one?
