Root to sweet: Setting Up a Sugar Beet Harvesting Process | American Falls Farm | FS 22 | ep #28

Welcome back to the American Falls Farm Timelapse. Initially, we sold finished products from our factories, starting with sugar, followed by acetic acid and bread. With our financial position now strengthened, we are shifting our focus to organizing the sugar beet harvest. The harvester is already in the field, so we are delivering auxiliary machinery and equipment.
The combine works in tandem with a JOHN DEERE 8440 tractor, for which we have acquired a VEENHUIS T-Rex Shuttle trailer to reload the harvested crop. We have also purchased a new plot of land with outbuildings, where we constructed a beet cutting plant. This enables us to deliver the harvested sugar beets to the new cutting plant, and subsequently transport the beet pulp to the sugar factory.
As the harvest continues, the first batch of beet sugar is loaded onto a platform and transported by truck to the point of sale.
