- In this video we will learn how we can install asterisk VOIP server on Ubuntu 20. VOIP is a voice over IP phone through which clients can place call and talk to each other on IP address.
We will install VOIP Asterisk server and then will add 2 clients. This can be done by editing the sip.conf file. We can then register these clients on windows or android or apple devices and can make calls easily.

Hello, I have a problem identifying the SIP server or asterisk server, and also the domain, I don't know what that means and I also am unsure of how to find out these domains/servers..

hello thanks for such an excellent work i have tried to follow it up and tried to establish that voip server
but when clents try to call each other i get an error 'NOT FOUND' but they register successfully and they show online. in the terminal log, i see an error showing " 7001 rejected because extension not found in context 'internal' " what can i do?
Brother, what if we want to make call to someone who don't use softphone. I mean how can we call directly to a local phone number?
Thanks. It works with UDP transport. However, it can't work with TCP mode. Could you tell me how to set asterisk work with TCP or TLS mode??

Can not connect to MicroSip . It says request timeout. Running ip addr , I got IP address 10.0.2.15 can anyone please help me with whats wrong here?
You might be using Virtual Box. Need to update the connection as bridging header.
