This is indeed a true collectors car. Didn’t know Buick built this special edition . It has Park Avenue amenities. Moonroof, touch auto climate control, electroluminescent opera lamps, fiber optic monitors on front fenders, special “collectors” engraved in the dash wood grain that if I recall it is backlit with electroluminescent light as well. Very nice. Brings back memories. Nice video 🙂👍🏼.
it was not a special edition. It was simply the last year of that style. ANd all the stuff you mentions were options. The car came with nothing. And no collectors were "engraved" onj the dash. That is a STICKER on top of the fake wood looking plastic dash. Wood grain my fucking ass.
This Buick and it’s Oldsmobile sister are two of the most beautiful cars GM ever made. Nothing better than a long hood and equally long doors. OMG and this one has LEATHER? Wow! I don’t care for any of the new cars sold today. That’s why I daily drive a 1994 Cadillac!
I had an '81 like this with a wonderful Goodwrench 5.7 DX diesel engine. It being the DX replacement made it a wonderful engine in my book! My Dad bought several cars from Ackerman in St Louis.
I would love to own this car and also I noticed the electronic climate control. I didn't know they made these in some models of the Lasabre. I had that in my 1985 Buick Riviera!

I have the same exact car but my blower motor resistor is missing but it has the same plug which is brown can anyone please steer me in the right direction with a part number because all I’m finding is the 4 blade resistor and mine has 5 and looks like the 1 in this video
That's lURUXY as Hell ALL the options with sunroof 85 Lesabre Ltd last V8 Buick those were the good old days top of line pure lURUXY almost like a Park Avenue back then the price $16000
Absolutely gorgeous car, but if it were still 1985 I might be thinking, "Why not just go for a Park Avenue?" I'm sure the price was almost exactly the same. In fact, a Park Avenue might have been less expensive than a LeSabre Limited Collector's Edition anyway. Again, GORGEOUS car, but it's totally a Park Avenue in LeSabre's clothing. American automakers are so funny.
This one's about as nice as the '85s got. It has the front fender lamp monitors and cornering lamps which for some reason were pretty rare on the '85s, even on the Collector's Editions. Those two features absolutely should have been standard on the Collector's Edition. I don't know why GM was so stingy with them.
Damn that Buick is gutless.. the Oldsmobile 5.0 four barrel had big guns I had 86 Buick Regal Limited digital dash the engine was gutless though so I put the 307 V8 swapped the 305 V8 out the Buick which was junk I can honestly say the V6 3.2 260 4 barrel carburetor was more faster than the V8 307 Oldsmobile engine that I swapped I had three Buicks I had the 2 V6 3.2 regals a 82 & 85 and then I had a 86 5.0 305 which I swapped out and put a Oldsmobile 307 in it...had big balls but like i said the 260 v6 was fast because of weight & a barrel carb.
The '85s got the smaller intake runners but they added roller lifters. There really was not much performance difference with the 307 from '80 through '90. It was never a barn burner but was solid and very quiet under full throttle.
One of the best cars was ever made
صح كلامك 😍👍

My grandpa had this exact car & it brings back so many memories of him. That’s what makes cars special.

Absolutely gorgeous car! I have a good knowledge base on these cars, and I'm certain this vehicle has EVERY option available for that year!
when I saw that auto air, twilight sentinel, leather and cornering lights I knew they had ticked all the boxes.

Sure dont see these vintage classic old cars on the road in 2021 no more.
I sure miss the Land Yachts.
I love this Buick LeSabre 1985, beautifull and pretty car. I love this car and interessed. How much? What is the price? For sale? Sold?
It just went live on our website today (3/12/2019). All the info is here: www.gatewayclassiccars.com/STL/8006/1985-Buick-LeSabre-Limited
Like riding on air & those pillow seats.

Park Avenue was kinda pricier back then $18000 almost a Cadillac

get a real classic, say 1971 true full size buick lesabre
The V8 engine SUCKS (Even by 1980s standards) in the 1985 LeSabre and is incredibly slow, the 1980-1984 versions were way better.
It lost its publicity in 1986 in my country for the same reason you said
My Dad's 79 LeSabre coupe in this cream color had a 301 Pontiac V8. I learned to drive on that car.
