If i heard right you got it mixed up in the beginning. The band is called As friends rust and the song is called up from the muck. Besides that yeah it's awesome!!! Been listening to them since forever, went to see them about 20 years ago in Ieper Belgium and it's one of the coolest concerts i've bee to...
Music frees us. Frees the performer to express an awkward or sensitive message amidst positive sounds; frees the listener to address difficult feelings without regret, and find joy in a moment. Everyone needs to find music that does this for them - good for the soul.
That song was great. I had never heard of them before. Definitely playlist material for me. Pretty moving. I like how it kind of flipped at the end lyrically, because all of us are going through stuff, and as much as we will all have the opportunity to be the helping hand to get someone through, sometimes we need to ask for help too.
Wow, Im surprised you haven't heard from As Friends Rust until now! They were "sorta" popular in the emo/punk-rock scene right before emo became popular (circa 2001-2003). Check out their hymn (at least for me): "Home is where the heart aches". Used to listen to this on my way to the uni. Those were the days! ua-cam.com/video/ZTNAHqGKTbI/v-deo.html
Wasn’t expecting the song to hit you like this, but glad you liked it!
Sometimes your past just up and punches you in the gut
@@RyanMear I know exactly what you mean.

RIP Taylor Hawkins. He died today, according to the official Foo Fighters Twitter. (He's 10 months older than I am.)
That is so fucked up. He was three months younger than me. RIP Taylor.
