- www.ttEDGE.com Basic Level Video (B1). The forehand block / counterhit is one of building blocks of the modern table tennis game. This video uses ultra slow motion footage to show which parts need to move in which order to make this a shot you can rely on.

I like how you discuss ways to handle different height/pace/etc of incoming ball because in real games there is a lot more variety than a skilled training partner who is purposefully hitting the ball to the same spot all the time.
Simply marvelous. I don't think anybody in the world have better online coaching than this one.
Sir, I am at 70 and still extremely passionate about TT, I have my robot HP07. I would love to get trained under your guidance. My health is for Table Tennis.
Please...
.
this guy is amazing I am a table tennis coach but this teaching is pleasing me as much as if I were a beginner
Hi tabletennisedge,
I would like to express my gratitude to you for creating this very helpful table tennis video. Your video contained great tips and it has really helped me. Your efforts are acknowledged and appreciated =).
One of the best I've seen on the web!
this video is amazing. its about t. we need more like this. you are explaining about throughout the stroke. I especially like the way you explain stroke application , timing, and what to do a contact.
i give it 9.5 out of 10 it wasn't long enough. LOLOLOLOLOL just kidding its a solid 11. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!! A WINNER
thank you for sharing this important tips, i wanna improve my game but cant afford to pay a trainer to correct my stroke. keep up the good work
This is one of the few forehand tutorial videos that stress the use of the wrists. I find that most other tutorials are missing this advice and stress too much on finishing the stroke at the forehead.
Good video. But I have to say he's using his arm swing than body spin, otherwise it will be much more powerful. Check top Chinese players training video
Agreed. This arm motion looks a little rigid and not easily translatable into a loop that can generate its own spin and power.
A+ Finally somebody hold my hand and taught me how to hit FH. (Excuse my english)
Thanks.
Thank you for the great video, I just have one question. Do you hit the ball on the bottom or top part of the racket
