FILM SAHELI-----oh my GOD-----this film takes me back to 1962-----years 1962 to 1967----my MBBS student days in LAHORE. This was the first movie I watched in LAHORE. I was actually taken to this movie by my class mate---SHAFIQ ( he paid for it ! )----watched this movie -----and then watching the movies got to be our regular entertainment, ----for us the medical students. Those were the days------those days are gone-----but not forgotten---will never be forgotten!! In this movie , beautiful actresses ----SHAMIM ARA and NAYYER SULTANA----and handsome actor---DARPAN. What a great movie it was! In particular this song---" Agar though dill jo mil jawtay , bigarta kia zamanay kaw" ----that is A LOVELY SONG OF LOVE. GOD BLESS ALL THOSE ACTRESSES AND ACTORS----all those actors and actresses are probably gone by now-----but their beautiful movie SAHELI is still alive and entertaining! GOD BLESS THEM ALL for ever and ever.
