OK, this proves it. 36 thousand views in two years. There are fools on UA-cam mowing their lawns in boxer shorts and they get 10 times that many views. The world is seriously messed up. I love this group everything they do is as good as or better than the original.
2 years since my comment on this one. I'm homeless now and running around the South with no place to go. And your videos showed up on my devices to look at again. I'm sitting in a Louisiana McDonalds miserable and lonely. Trying not to tear up while playing this.

Well, I've watched and listened to every X factor and The Voice from around the world and, nobody can sing "purple rain" as good as you Smaranda. There is was just one Female who was fairly close to you. You simply are ("the cover Queen" :) this song was the best Prince ever made and, the best cover by anybody has come from you.
Andrei Cerbu can play it all and his interpretive ability to emote with blues and rock guitar is testament to his immense talent and his most accomplished mentors and the legends in whose footsteps he has already Journeyed quite far in his formative years. Pulling off a good cover of Prince's songs is not for everyone.
Smaranda really gets to show off both the power and range of her voice in this, while your playing Andrei, was, as ever, fantastic.
I have to admit I wasn't wildly excited when I saw the title, but your performance has changed my mind over this song.
Prince was a far greater writer than performer, at least to my mind, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Your solos are on another level, absolutely brilliant.
When people mention great guitar players, they usually mention Santana, Eddie van Halen, Neil Schonn, etc.. Prince isn't usually included but he absolutely should be. Excellent guitarist and you played that with such soul! Wonderfully done!

Absolutely excellent. Purple Rain is probably the best thing that Prince ever did. A lot of people have tried to cover it - without success, until now. Wonderful vocal and Andrei can certainly get that Les Paul really humming.

The thing is as much as you are a magnificent musician i don't get why you are not followed as much as you deserve. What brings me to your channel is the super natural performances you create with Sina Drums. You seem to grow another leg (if that's possible) when you're teamed up with her in colabs. I wish you would both do more together so you can get your name spread with the insane amount of views she gets. Youre a match made in heaven and could form a super group. Always loved Purple Rain, and was a few years ago a friend of mine heard this on my music player list and then asked how much I knew of Prince, (Not the UK Royals)
Not a lot tbh, then for the hour drive home he began to enlighten me...... in a nutshell it wasn’t much for the fame but more for the music either performing or writing for other great artists which speaks volumes , so to listen to this rendition is an all round great effort, Thumbs up. Another Romanian girl who did work with Andrei is Maia Malancus singing "cry baby" she was about 10 at the time. She sure can reach the high notes with ease, stunning!. She did Bon Jovi, Matallica, Etta James, too many to list. You really need to type in her name and search
