"I'm livin' proof that you don't need a master's just to be a masterpiece". Big Sean spits the best verses.
chiqa idk man logic is pretty damn good too
chiqa Dead in the middle of little italy, little did we know that we riddled two middle men who didn't do didly... You don't know
+Nigel Peppercox Logic is dry. he's mediocre
chiqa wack. He ain't touching Cyhi.
chiqa i said that in a freestyle before that verse ain't nothing special lol i fw the song tho im from detroit too
Big Sean is the most underrated for sure. I had his I Decided on album on repeat the whole day and honestly its so motivational. Not to mention how great the whole album is, it makes me wanna get up off my lazy ass and chase my dreams. I'm glad Big Sean made this because it inspired me as a rapper myself to keep going, I'm an 18 year old rapper and I think you'd enjoy the music I make. I promise you won't be disappointed.
His album is fantastic especially that no favors joint
If you take a L, Bounce back (get it?) but srsly bro your music is really good
I thought I was the only one that was so inspired after hearing it
Keep going bro, I know your music since I heard it before and its fire. You will be big
OfficialBoomi you just earned a new sub

This song is like a good whiskey. Gets better and hits harder with age.
Facts Brother. I dont drink but found this piece when I was 15. Bout to turn 19 and it always has and always will be close to me and hopefully teaches me to be a better person with each day.
She been mad🎵
I'm tired of ppl saying he is underrated. He is actually really known guys
he doesn't get the props he deserves thats why
Nameless no he not, people never give him any acknowledgement like they give drake, Kendrick and j cole
The Timbs exactly. He deserves to be in that conversation no doubt
There's a difference between well known and underrated
theres a difference between being well known and still not getting the credit he deserves when half of rap music is literal trash. people stay sleepin on Sean its a fact.
Sean arguably the best rapper out at the moment
Lol
Mr Awesome lmao
Swish Rich u know it nigga

IF YALL HAVEN'T DECIPHERED THIS ALBUM YET?!?!?!?!!?!?!? WELL LET ME HELP!!!!!!!
The title of this album is called "I Decided".
Now at first glance it might seem like he is referring to suggestions in his previous albums such as "Dark Sky Paradise" and or "Detroit" etc. Where as he is explaining how he has come up or made moves and the process in-between etc.
However this is not the case with this album it is much deeper than that and it becomes apparent whenever you watch this video, as well as hear the "Intro" and "Bigger Than Me" songs you will be able to start connecting the other songs together like "Voices in my Head/Stick to the Plan"., which are all on the album "I Decided". However I am just going to explain this video for now and allow you to interpret it for yourself whenever you get a chance to listen to the full album.
Well first this video starts off looking like a acid trip all together lol, but besides that at first glance in the video you might think that the old man standing in the middle of the street is his dad. Also, through out the video it might play as if it is his dad and from the lyrics referencing him within the song as well as his mom. However, the old man is in fact Sean himself! But we are not talking about the ego as in Sean, we are talking about his spirit or an easier term we could use would be his past self. This becomes noticeable at @0:30 When Sean himself is standing exactly where the old man was in the same position look up. Then later you see the old man in the house on the phone talking to someone. Based off the "Intro" song that someone could be Death or God where the old man ( Or Sean's past-self) is explaining how he went through life filled of regrets and how he wants a second chance. And This might be the first time the old man (Sean's past-self) had talked to Death being that in the "Intro" song the phone called he had made took place in a different scenery as you can tell from the background noises once you've listened to it. And the way he is nodding his head through the conversation suggest that he is making a deal with Death or God to full-fill this empty void he has been missing his life. Now this is where it gets like Twilight. At @1:25 some random guy (Death or a Form of God) rolls up to Sean with a phone and he takes it and answers it. Which probably had someone or something on the other line tell him to go to a certain telephone both and wait for a call. So Sean is there and he answers the call from the old man (Sean's past self) and then they start conversing. And this conversation could have went in ANY direction, but I'm sure it goes along the lines of Hey this is you from the future or hey this is you from another dimension or hey this is you from a past life, explaining all his regrets or mistakes he wants our Sean on the other line to fix or correct. Or he could be giving him advice and guidance in order to "Decide" how to accomplish success in life. OR based off the lyrics of the song and the timing of the video where he is in the telephone booth our Sean himself (the next life) could be talking to the old man (his past life) letting him know that he did it on the second chance that he is successful with no regrets thus far and that it is okay to die now because you're next life (Sean's current life) will be everything you've dreamed of. Then they hang up and I think thats where the "Intro" comes in? I'm not sure, but the phone part makes sense after hearing "Bigger than me" towards the end when he finally answers his mom's call and the conversation they had. Saying that towards then end of this video when his mom was calling and he says i'll call her back it is because the old man (Sean's past self) is calling him to give him more info about the future or to ask him question etc, which is why he had the notebook out towards the end of the video. And this also helps with explaining the title of this album "I decided" not just I decided to take 2017 more seriously (as most people perceives it) and I'm going to make moves like never before. It also means (in a deeper meaning) that he decided to go through life again to become something of worth to himself and to God or whoever and enjoy the experience to his journey. That will make more sense once you hear the full album.
However this is just MY PERSPECTIVE on things. You can take it or leave it. I just thought it was interesting and based off Sean's spiritual sense I have a hunch this is the deeper meaning behind his album. Also the person on the phone could be Death, God, an Angel, His Consciousness or the Devil I do not know, but I do know that it could be a paranormal entity that is allowing Sean's past self or alternate self to communicate with our Sean through a telephone booth. So don't hate on me. Tell me what you think? Just try watching the video again after reading this with that mindset of it being himself as the old man etc.
Jared Owens 😂 same
Devin Mallery thank you! pretty dope explanation!
Devin Mallery i really agree even though it's too damn big i couldn't finish it smh i probably agree tho idk
can someone summarize this for the lazy ones pls? :))
Anar Batzorig the old man is calling sean basically telling him he's sean from the future and if he doesn't change his life (become a role model and love life) he will have many regrets. The old guy is the one on the phone with Sean. Dope explanation, hope this gets endless thumbs up!
Yea I got the force, but never forced nothing.
Big Sean is an amazing lyricist...we need to give him his credit.
Richie Simmons I swear I read this as soon as he said it wtf 😂
Richie Simmons *forced but doesn't make much difference haha

He is so fkn underrated. There's only very few rappers that get me hooked on em, and he's one of those. His whole album is fkn genius
CaNdiES258 tf he's not underrated
The real question is: if someone is universally considered underrated, are they actually underrated?
It’ll always be an opinion and cannot be true or untrue but if everyone agrees, it’s probably reasonable
Not if it’s only if it’s his fans , the rap community as a whole don’t see it that way only people who actually listen to him.
yes
I'm callin it 2017 is Big Sean's year
Aidan Santistevan hope so
Aidan Santistevan migos pretty much claimed that. but sean one of the most underrated. way better than most artists.
yung_takeoff nah people will forget about migos again in about 2 months
kofi mcdonald people never forgot about them.
nah it's migos year buddy
"Chemistry mean way more than anatomy"
KoopaBowser he was referring to people loving whoever they want no matter what sex, correct?
devine532 no he is sayin that character nd personality of a person means more than sex
Yes he means he now he understands that the way it match with a girl is more important than her body ^^
Alchemy Bro
yeah you're right
Laidies and Gentlemen.. Here's your most underrated rapper of this era.
Facts been telling niggas that since mixtape sean
Mo Mo you said Wale lol
you aint lying bro smh
Mainstream can't be underrated
How can someone who has a song with Ariana grande Travis Scott and more be underrated
I normally dont listen to big sean, I normally listen to 2000's and 90's rap. But this song grew on me after listening to it for 2-3 times. Great job Big Sean, I'll be sure to check out this album. Big up brother!
Morgan Freeman nigga I'm still pending on a movie of you, fuck you listening to music?
Morgan Freeman big Sean vi p
Morgan Freeman him and Kendrick are the only ones who give me hope that the rap game isn't lost
WolfK 23 childish gambino and kid cudi can be added to that list
Larry Williamson true true I only started listening to them recently and that was after I posted that comment they are both ver good artists as well
"I'm the living proof you don't need a masters to be a masterpiece"
big Sean and fab should do a mixtape/album together they seem like a good pair up wit they type of dope style
Eric weathersby jjn
Eric weathersby fabulous couldn't keep up with Sean on a song let alone a Collab project
Eric weathersby I was thinking the same thing! They both got the same type of motivational music vibe
Navigator Truck facts
Eric weathersby YOO Fabolous just posted up a pic of him and Big Sean today on Instagram, so there's a possibility of that happening!! What a crazy coincidence lol

He's not underrated.. He made a hit album like 2 years ago and now he's back. check ur history pls
what they mean by underated is that . Big Sean is not always considered in top 5
Doge King He deserves to be at the top like Drake.
He's popular but he's not one of those big dogs in the game which that's what he deserves.
Doge King what ive been saying. alot of people been talking bad about it. i really like it
Doge King duh fuk he is underatted he's been dropping heat
Doge King he doesn't get the credit deserves. he's up there with kendrick and cole rn
This is by far one of his best songs.
Timothy Patterson top 10
"im the livin' proof that u don need a masters just to be master piece"🙏
FlexMatcho 97 I really need to tell that to my dad
CommonCents 101 No, get your masters. You're going nowhere with a nike tick banner and a dollar sign avatar.
huncho 97 fr tho
huncho 97 you gotta have talent tho.
No matter how much time passes I still pray I Decided blows up. Even if it’s in the next five years. People keep begging him for new music that’s similar to his first few albums but when y’all gonna realize he recent albums are about his inspiration and he ain’t doing nothing but improving? Y’all wanna hear what every other rapper raps about, and that was what his first few albums sounded like. But he was a new artist back then and he needed that to rise. I feel like Twenty88 was a turning point for Sean, and I hope he never looks back.
Big Sean to me deserves to be the most improved rapper in the game. His first two albums were okay. His first album in particular had some radio hits, his second album in a lot of ways was a flop, but damn this dudes last two albums have been straight fire!! Im from Flint, it feels good to see someone from Detroit putting on.
Detroit. Eminem
dwalk2011 I strongly agree with this. Tbh, I don't really like Big Sean's first two albums. They're okay, but nothing stands out because he was finding his style and mode. Once he truly found it though?? Bars all day, and hasn't stopped since
dwalk2011 Hall of fame def wasn’t a flop.
kyle hall of fame was a sleeper hit
could never stand Big Sean. Never liked a song he made. This album was shocking to me shit was so good.
Sorry for stating the obvious, but.......
THIS IS FIRE!!!
Ryan Huang 👍🏽
no favors owe me and sacrifices are fire
I thought this was big Sean.
THIS IS PATRICK
Tonom Amou how
Who here in 2023? This album is dangerously underrated one of big Sean’s best projects. Just takes me back to better times before the pandemic and everything going bad. Let’s bring this type of music back!
Big Sean is so underrated to me. He has bars for days.
That's dop mane
the whole concept of this album is fucking amazing
Ice T VFX your pic funny asf
Ice T VFX please explain the concept, I feel like I'm the only one who disliked it and thought it was cheesy
Dunk On Em Sports From what I can tell , the album is the perspective of Big Sean in 20 years from now, getting to the things he did in his career and how much that changed his personality and affections.
That's why the album is called "I Decided". It's not talking about "I decided now to do this because I want to", it's more like "When I decided , my life changed completely"
+Dunk On Em Sports y u dislike tho??! Dont!
YEAH DUDE JUST FUCKING MIND BLOWING
Big Sean's visual aesthetics in his music videos are always lit. Literally. 🔥
The way the slowed part comes on and then leaves is crazy!
Most underrated album. This hit different. Sonically it pulls on your heart strings when your up thinking late at night especially. This song got me through !!
The album is pure art! 🔥 #IDecided.
_ TheDirtyBird_11 yaas
big sean loves colors cuz we see that in this clip and bounce back .. i love ur song cuz u give me the energie .. from morocco 💝
DOPER , I'm from Morocco too
😂 chno dayra f fb ?
His use of colors have been amazing ever since HOF. While HOF was mediocre, the album covers were fire. Dark Sky Paradise cover was amazing, and now this
maybe i think all of the clips in this album " i dicided " he will make it colerful i see that in the album's cover
DOPER , why y'all say "colorful" lmao that shit sound so weird. It's all art.
Times we're better when I first heard of this song
Shit couldn’t be truer
Honestly
Ye :/
Probably the opposite for me
big facts, 2017 was elite for me mainly because of this album
man he's such a great rapper this video is beautiful
you are beautiful.
I got the force but never force nothin..
he in a totally different lane than everyone else
STACKZ World tbh J. Cole and Big Sean is sticking true to the original Rap Genre
TNB TheNewBlood logic
STACKZ World his album kinda mirrors Chance's somewhat but it's a definitely a Big Sean album by adding that personal family touch and he's never afraid to explore his feelings unlike other rappers it makes his music more personal to go along with story telling acumen. I Decided is a Masterpiece
JAS well put
drake put him on tho
Who is here in 2024?
I seen this exact same comment on the last like 15 songs straight. Yal so cookie cutter 😂
We bumping until forever g
I was about to say like bro stfu who cares, ole wanting likes ass lmao. You right @K1LLTHEDJ

why is this not on the top charts though
Because Bounce Back is better
Ricardo Mata *Catchier
True that. I have a hard time getting into this type of music. But Bounce Back jumped out to me rhythmically and melodically.
Bounce back is better tho
Why aren't you my girl ? That's the real question.
I really need to get more into Big Sean. Never really gave him a good listen.

+Ken Torials that's not how Grammys work. this album hasn't been out for 2 days yet. damn.
you know he won't. that's just the way it works
Jabbaweezy idk we where suprised this year with chance winning over drake but with eminem dropping a new album this year its a pretty low chance
I’d say this was big Sean’s best album
Me too

"chemistry means more than anatomy" pure fire and true
This "No more Interviews" & "Higher" my top 3 Big Sean joints ... 🙏🏿
This was really beautifully put together. I love Big Sean's visuals and how he has a fully developed concept when presenting his work. Big ups to the Don and his team #Goodmusic
You can tell Big Sean is taking these painful experiences, and using that pain to push himself.
I really think this is him moving on from death and failed relationships in the best way possible: personal growth.
He's not using the pain to hold him back, but to launch himself into a new chapter.
People out there grinding, working and pushing.. don't quit. Just cause you can't see the reward today, don't worry,
it's on its way. Don't give up. Bounce back. Be a success. Fuck the negativity.
"i got the force but never force nothing" bruh
Big sean is so underrrated
Anybody still here 2023?🔥🙏🏿this is a masterpiece
best rapper str8 outta Detroit Michigan
This concept is amazing. Thanks for sharing your vision. It's so solid I can think of call this a masterpiece not for the music but for the entire piece including artwork.
Lyrics
I am ready right now
Uh huh
I look up, I don’t even…
I think it’s funny how it go down
I don’t even know no more
Official shit
I’m hangin’ halfway off the balcony
Overthinkin’ ’cause my job is way more than a salary
Everything around me gold like I just practiced alchemy
I realized when it comes to girls
That chemistry means way more than anatomy
She mad at me, she been mad at me
I’m the livin’ proof that you don’t need a master’s just to be a masterpiece
People passin’ faster than I’m passin’ weed
My daddy tell me, “Stay strong, son and be the man you have to be
Holdin’ shit down, don’t crash at sea”
Brrrr Paper on my phone line
It’s on my phone like fax for me, that’s facts to me
But I don’t want it if it can’t change shit drastically, dramatically
‘Cause actually, I realized time’s the most valuable, actually
So I’ma call my favorite girl and she gon’ bring that ass for me
And as for me, I’ma text the room number right now
So you ain’t gotta hit the front desk and go ask for me
Don’t ask for me, don’t ask for me
Don’t ask for me
Lot of shit been goin’ on, things goin’ wrong
So don’t ask for me
I’m hangin’ halfway off the balcony
Overthinkin’ ’cause my job is way more than a salary
Everything around me gold like I just practiced alchemy
I realized when it comes to girls
That chemistry means way more than anatomy
She mad at me, she been mad at me
She been mad, I’ve been on the go, on a roll
On a roll more than a roller coaster
They can’t throw me off track or slow
If I did, I got a long list of hoes on hoes
I quote unquote say I told you so
Heaven on earth, every night is paradise
I pray I didn’t die or overdose, never that
I kept it a hundred, never change, not even for five 20s
Still smokin’ that 520 like it’s 420
On a quest for more money, more hungry
Just got my fortune read, she said it’s more comin’
Yeah I got the force but never force nothin’
Do it for the love, I’m Forrest Gumpin’
In my city I’m Warren Buffett, I mean business, the shirt is tucked in
The gun’s tucked in, fuck it, I’m who not to fuck with
Who the bad bitches gon’ fuck with and lames just don’t fuck with
My stock’s risin’, I’m goin’ public
If I write it, it’s gon’ publish
You’re fuckin’ with the best, no discussion
So disgusting
It’s that 3 and a third shit
Straight up
I’m hangin’ halfway off the balcony
Overthinkin’ ’cause my job is way more than a salary
Everything around me gold like I just practiced alchemy
I realized when it comes to girls
That chemistry means way more than anatomy
She mad at me, she been mad at me
She been mad
Man 1: Yo, yo your mom callin’ you
Man 2: Um, I’ma call her back
Man 1: You sure dawg? She keep callin’
Man 2: Yeah for sure, for sure, bruh, I’ma call her back
