Thank you so much for your very helpful video. Now I feel I can handle the removal of my damaged front bumper. Please keep posting very good videos like this one. Your friend from. Puerto Rico Edwin Oliveras
I like when Road King investigates old parts to see what happened. I also like the little pointer. New bumper looks good.
Thanks alot Newman!!☺
Yeah , I liked the cool pointer too . Adds a little touch to the video. Edwin from. P.RICO
Wow this bring back memories. I did this back when I first bought my 02 Tacoma, front and rears. I miss that truck. But I do like my 2018. Nice for the every day commute. 22mpg helps too. Great job fellas.
Thanks Luke!! I do like the new Tacomas but I hate to get rid of this one!! I'm just starting to break it in, it only has 144K on it!!☺
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Looks better than new, with the chrome! Hopefully all of your prep work keeps it rust-free for a long time. Good job, RK!👍
Thanks alot Tony!! We did all we could do!!☺
A new RoadKing feature: Bumper Night LOL!
That's what it's come down to Matt!! I can't remember the last time we've worked on an engine together!!☺
@@805ROADKING At least you guys were together wrenching on something.
Beautiful job RoadKing! It's nice to see good old stuff fixed instead of tossing everything.
Thanks alot Von!!☺
Man , I say that looks better anyways King !! Great job .. That salt they use on the east coast is a body and frame killer .. ENJOYED
Thanks Bud!!☺
Looks good. Just need to shine up them cloudy headlights now.
Thanks Mike!! Yeah we have some brand new lights in a box somewhere, we just gotta find them!!
Brilliant guide, thanks for making this video! I just bought a 1996 Taco, and the front bumper is also rotted out.
Also, I lost it at about 06:10 when the orange rubber pointing finger showed up on screen!
Watching little dirt bike using that ratchet reminded my why I got a set of socket drive adapters for my cordless drill. Don't tell little dirt bike though, at his age he needs the muscle tone. 😆
I'm trying to Bulk Him up so we can work Him harder!!☺
It's nice to have one of those young whipper snappers around to get those things off. That is why you have to take care of them when they are young so they can help you when you get old.
Yeah Buddy!! If it wasn't for that Lil' Feller nothing would get done!!☺
Fabulous I must say. Glad little dirt bike could help along with his Pa. Looks much better than original. Thanks for the tips and video's.
Thanks D!! I couldn't do anything without those Guys!!☺
Nice fix and nice upgrade! Plus, it's always good to have the Dirtbike family helping out :)
Thanks Chris!! Always fun to have them over for Bumper Night!!☺
Yep you needed to fix that bumper for sure. That chrome looks good on the taco. I always enjoy spending time in the shop with you no matter what your doing. Have a great weekend buddy!!
Thanks alot Bob!! I kinda liked the patina at first but then it got to a point where it was embarrassing!!☺
The Chrome looks Nice shame the factory could have painted the inside of their bumper😀
They would have to double the price!! A spritz of oil is alot cheaper!!☺
I had an 86 Toyota van and I had to replace the bumper on it some guy sideswiped it in a parking lot . Came out alright but not as pretty as that chrome bumper !
...good job, nice work, keep safe and have a great weekend..
Thanks alot Bob!!☺
This made me miss my '03 Taco double cab! Great trucks.
Yeah Buddy!! ☺
I've got one of those trucks too. Great work and good to see it done, thanks!
Thanks alot Tim!!☺
I think it looks better that the original and a nice job protecting the inside as well.
Thanks alot MrShin!!☺
keep the great work
Thanks Cowboy!!☺
Beautiful Roady. It's like having a new truck again.
Yeah Buddy!! ☺
The chrome bumper looks great!
Thanks Dad!! It's alot faster now with the chrome!!☺
That looks great and gives the Taco a little facelift. Nice work there Buddy, Cheers
Thanks alot Lloyd!! Now it needs a good bath!!☺
It would have been awesome if Toyota had actually learned anything over the years, our 2015 uses that area as a storage bin for silt. What ever happened to inner fender wells that actually protect stuff!
Our has unneeded vents in them.
All while our hood scoop (where you could use airflow) is fake…..
If they don't build them to rot away they can't sell new ones!!☺
@@805ROADKING I couldn’t believe how bad it looked inside of our tailgate.
The composite bed doesn’t help much when the rest of its junk.
I ended up pulling the latch apart and getting it working again after I priced the pregame thing pieces……
Alright RK. Great work. Thanks for the look.
Thanks alot Mac!!☺
Great video.
NJ Road salt. Ruined so many of my cars when I lived there. The rear bumper of my '94 Dodge Ram rusted out leaving just a foil of chrome in places. Of course the back side of the bumper had zero paint or corrosion protection.
Looks like those cornflakes are high in iron on the ends of that bumper there... :P
Yeah Buddy!! ☺
Morning mate, very bling lol,now your have to keep it polish it :o)
Thanks Mate!! Yeah I wasn't thinking about that when I bought it!!☺
Looks good RK!
Thanks William!☺
Nice one RK you blinger lol. cheers mate.
Thanks Mate!!☺
Nice job, Roady. It looks pretty spiffy with that chrome bumper up front. You have the opposite problem to me. I can buy metric easily and cheaply locally. SAE stuff I have to buy off ebay and gets pricey quickly. That should last well now with that protection on it. I bet the bolts on the Old F100 came out more easily. Take care. Mart in England.
Thanks Mate!!☺
Came out better than factory as always. A lil patience goes a long way on those rusty fasteners
Thanks Snoop!! Yeah we almost saved them all!!☺
Give them headlights a little love and the face lift will be complete. great work. nuff a this.
Thanks Sled!! We have some new ones in a box somewhere, we just have to figure out where we put it!!☺
That is such a great upgrade! Love the Chrome!!!! Do those headlight lenses need polishing? Love Toyota
Thanks Buddy!! I have a new set of headlights still in the boxes somewhere, I just have to figure out where I put them so they wouldn't get lost!!☺
Very interesting
Thanks MB!!☺
That came out looking great. Good run thru of the job.. WTG RK. ☺
Thanks alot Carl!!☺
Looks good buddy :)
Thanks Buddy!!☺
🇺🇲🇺🇲👍👍👍
