This figure is based on a Toriyama ilustration from the cover of the 6th daizenshuu. Man, is it a cool looking Goku, I'm so excited to get it! The pose, sculpt, scale, colors. This is my End All Be All Goku. Great review! Makes me even more excited for it lol.
The only thing I don't like about this line is that it's all Gokus...yet again. I was thrilled when this figure was announced, and I hoped to have a Vegeta to pair up with him... not happening lol.
Well I will say that if it’s like FES but removes the bases and sticks up the butt: I’m here for it. There are plenty of Goku moments I need represented on my saga shelves!!!
@@MatchesPeaches I can definitely agree, I'd love to see what Nakazawa (the sculptor in charge of this and the FES line) will bring to this line with the inevitable SSJ3 and SSJ4 Gokus. Buuuut I'd still rather get something like a Buu Saga SSJ Vegeta to go with this guy.

Live in Russia, and i bought this goku for a 5$ on wildberries. Originall banpresto figure. It's awesome
Apart from the lack of shading and another Goku lol, it's a pretty nice figure on its own. I look into the anatomy, posing, body's line of action and I gotta admit it flows and actually better looking than the King Cluster Goku (just the pose in general, the size n paint cant compared to King Cluster and it uses a different sculpts). Overall nice size, great likeness, good choice if anyone want Nakazawa's work
I think the face is better than the King Clustar too!

He’s awesome! I have an SS Goku from Master Stars on my Android/Cell shelf but he would fit there too!!
I thinks it is based on Toriyama's drawing of Goku with cell on the side. If I am right, I believe it was sculpted by the great Hiroyuki Nakazawa that's why the details are amazing. I'm really excited to have this on my little collection. I bought mine for $10 only from a seller that is currently based on japan and it's on its way now. Cool unboxing and review man! Keep it up!

@@MatchesPeaches yeah, I mainly consider price x quality when picking figures and this one is good enough for the price. It's way cheaper (about 15usd) here bdw.
@@addycharles1824 yeah it’s series got discontinued quick and it didn’t make much of a splash when released. Some of these under the radar gems are nice to pick up since they’re cheap

i get why the color of the clothes and hair are the way they are, but for some reason the way the hair is shaped is just not it for me. he looks way off cuz of his hair.

Yess me too, I think it looks great as well since it really captured the likeness and color of the hair from the reference. And I like the sculpt on this figure better than the king clustar one.
