The Japanese brands need to lift their game asap or they’ll loose considerable market share in no time. I always said I’d never buy a Chinese vehicle out of principle, however I’m slowly changing my mind as Japanese cars aren’t changing quite enough.
The Chery Omoda 5 GT front-wheel drive comes with a temporary spare wheel, but the GT all-wheel drive has a full-size spare. So you would need to pay the extra for the GT AWD to get the full-size wheel.
Even sherry can get sequential indicators right. Shame Toyota can't. On the 300 series looks like they're going at 3fps smh. Corolla cross not much better.
@@charlotteyuki Australian standards are a bit harsher mate....if it had issues it wouldn't be allowed to leave the warehouse, cars are flagged and checked before they even leave the yard mate
Then hop in into a bus that public transport isn't a luxury to keep vulnerable teens, kids, endangered toddlers and disadvantaged handicaps safe from road carnage since J1 had no ESC.
Where is here ?

We have the 1.6 engine in the Omoda 5 in Europe, but I wish we got the AWD version here.

Great AWD compact SUV, loaded with full specs. NO tinted windows on this top spec model, amazing in 2024..@?
Still shy on power/torque to consider it a rival to the Kona N Line. But it is 10k or so cheaper so 🤷♂️
this is a real bargain, even better than in China(they don't have awd version there)
Public transport isn't a luxury to keep vulnerable teens safe from an Omoda GT or an old J11 on the road.
The Chinese have developed their own styling, unique and refreshing .

Even the brand name is scary. It’s a big nope from me 👎
Scary brand name ironically rhymes it's so poetic😅
